It's only like R$40!! But 5 hours long... longer than I thought because I've taken the bus between Rio and SP about 5 or 6 times and that's only 7 hours! Hmmm...

I forgot how much I LOVE Brazilian buses. Assigned seating and all that. Although one time they showed Flashdance. DUBLADO. (Could it get any worse?)

PS I read in a trashy magazine that Rodrigo Santoro will play a character on Lost this season (since we're in the Brazilian thread and all...)

I have another good deal for buses. http://www.passagem-em-domicilio.com.br/ I used it when I went to Rio and it works just fine. You can order any company and compare prices. The best is: you get the tickets the next day AT HOME!!! It really helped me cuz I didnt have time to cross all the city to pick it.

Eu acho que eu assisti o primeiro Big Brother, eu só assisto TV a cabo, e assisti o último Big Brother because Charles was here and we didn't have cable tv at the apartment we rented in Camboriú.

But I love ####### american tv, I love most AXN, Warner, Fox and specially Sony TV shows. oh, and I love Oprah shhhh, don't tell anyone

I called Citibank in Rio and they'll be opened on oct 9, so if I don't go to Curitiba before that to pay the US$ 100.00 fee I'll pay in Rio. I found an agency very close to the Consulate and found 3 hotels I'm still deciding which one to stay.

So I'll post a map, the hotels values (all of them double - cama de casal - for Charles and I) and what they have and don't have and I want opinions please

Yeah, it takes 5 hours because the roads are kind of... ummm... weird (I won't say bad so you won't get scared). But it's totally worth the 5-hour trip. Totally.

The Reservation for Monte Castelo is not complicated: I just needed to deposit the right amount (usually 50% of the total, or the total if you are going to stay just 1 night) at any Banco do Brasil.
