Ai que felicidade que não sou a única que lê Asterix!

O Luis não faz a menor idéia do que seja, queria tanto achar os livros em inglês pra ele ler, eu tinha um monte em português (era compra obrigatória na Sodiler no aeroporto do Rio, quando eu levava meu pai pra viajar) quando era mais nova. Achei na Amazon mas ainda não tive oportunidade de comprar. Adoro o que eles se enlistam no exército romano.

Por mais incrivel que pareca, meu cunhado, de 15 anos de idade, coleciona os gibis...

nao eh dificil de achar as versoes em ingles. Pq chegou a ser um micro fenomeno nas ilhas britanicas...

Gente,

It's very very sad!! I'm a teacher and believe me - we do EVERYTHING we can do to avoid violence, drugs, bullying, etc. in schools. However, we can only do so much. Students are not what we were when we were their age. It's very sad.

Obviously violence is not the answer.

I hope you understand that most students are not like those that go to school and kill their classmates. I don't see that happening in Brasil either (I taught there), but as much as we see it on TV, it is not common for students to come to school to kill each other.

We meant more in the sense that even though it's not an everyday thing, the few times it happened in US is a lot more times than it happens in other countries. Who knows what triggers this type of behaviour, but it does seem to occur more often in US.

It's like suicidals in Japan, teenagers who didn't go well in school. It's a behaviour seen most there than anywhere else I've heard of, but that one I could explain.
