Obrigada a todos pelo apoio e pelos parabéns =)

Não é a vaga dos meus sonhos nem algo em que eu poderei exercer o que estudei tanto tempo, mas já não dá mais pra ficar em casa o dia todo, é de matar. Amanhã eu começo, e assim já vai entrando uma graninha. Mas hoje já me inscrevi em 3 vagas na minha área, e pelo menos agora a espera será bem menos frustrante.

Reynaldo, nunca provei Cheerios, deve ser muito bom. Vc pode comprar os pães de queijo pela internet, tem uns sites que vendem salgados congelados (não lembro agora o nome, vou procurar e te falo). O preço é meio salgadinho e tem que pedir de quantidade grande, mas pra quem tá com muita saudade e não quer ou não sabe fazer em casa, deve ser bom negócio.

Aqui na califa também se aprende espanhol e inglês facinho, hehe, e também tem churrascaria brasileira. Por isso quem quiser vir pra cá mais pertinho de mim eu não vou achar ruim viu?

Nessa, estou na torcida pra vc arranjar o emprego que te interessa! espero que aí no Kansas seja bem mais fácil e menos competitivo que aqui.

07/16/2006 - We got married in Reno, Nevada.

USCIS:

08/13/2006 - Filed for AOS, AP, EAD - they were VERY carefully packaged with a detailed cover sheet on top of each of the forms, just as VJ's instructions recommend. It was A LOT of work, but it did pay off! (we firmly believe this is what sped up our process big time)

08/31/2006 - Biometrics appointment

09/09/2006 - Received my AOS appointment date!

10/26/2006 - EAD touched and AP APPROVED!

10/27/2006 - AOS appointment at 7:30 AM! APPROVED IN EXACTLY 70 DAYS!!!

11/01/2006 - EAD approved

11/02/2006 - Email notification - greencard will be mailed as soon as it is ready! YAY again!

11/02/2006 - Welcome to the United States of America letter in the mail! Almost there! =)

11/06/2006 - EAD card and White card (a.k.a. greencard) arrive in the mail!

Journey Total Duration: 80 days

Filed for removal of conditions on 07-28-2008 and had them removed on 09-10-2008

Meninas, se o Luis arrumasse um emprego na Flórida a gente ia mesmo, mas tá difícil. Ninguém parece querer dar emprego pra recém formado, parece o Brasil, como diabos a gente consegue emprego se todos os empregos precisam de experiência, e como conseguimos experiência se ninguém emprega a gente?!?!! :P

Pra vc ver como a gente não pode mesmo desistir, eu me inscrevi em 3 vagas hoje de tarde e já recebi uma resposta quase imediatamente de uma agência de RP querendo falar comigo semana que vem. Quem sabe dessa vez vai? mas se não for, pelo menos tô empregada já, hehe, nada a perder.
