Eu não sei a resposta. Que tal postar essa pergunta no forum ''Working & Traveling prior to getting a Green Card''? Eu acho que para ir não vai ter problema nenhum, mas sim para voltar. Você já viu se é possível mudar o passaporte no Brasil para o nome de casada? Talvez essa seja uma boa idéia.

O Charles disse que já viu essa pergunta em algum lugar mas não lembra da resposta e disse que se fosse você ligaria para a airline e perguntaria qual a melhor maneira de proceder.

Você pretende viajar depois que tiver o green card em mãos?

Sim...assim que receber meu GC eu quero ir, pois ainda nao vi minha mami depois da morte do meu pai nem nada...meu problema e o seguinte...meu passaporte esta vencido e como roubaram minha ID brasileira o consulado nao vai renovar, eles apenas me dao uma permisao pra viajem que mostro quando chegar no Brasil...mas assim que estiver no Brasil irei renova-lo e passar pro nome de casada...agora eu nao sei se teria problema em viajar de volta pro brasil com a passagem em nome de casada e o passaport em nome de solteira..

Anyways, eu pedi pra minha mae ver com uma colega dela que tem agencia de turismo se ela podia me da cada passagem com um nome diferente...tomara que sim :)

Bem, respondendo minha pergunta....liguei pro consulado que me aconselhou a ligar pra TAM, que me informou que nao ha problema...mesmo assim mandei uma mensagem pelo website pois quero algo em escrito pra evitar problema depois...

Ahh...ontem terminei de organizar meu folder pra entrevista...YAY..

Thatchi, que interessante que vc faz aniversário no mesmo dia que eu, hehe. Tô fazendo uma compilação aqui das datas, pra gente não esquecer. Quanto à sua chegada ao Brasil, dependendo da hora em que vc chegar e do movimento, vc só vai ter que deixar o passaporte aberto na página da foto, eles não vão conferir se está vencido ou não. De qualquer forma, é bom vc ter o papel do consulado, mas eu já viajei dezenas de vezes pra lá, e nunca me pediram pra ver o passaporte além da foto. Com certeza vc não vai ter problema por causa disso.

Aliás, pela total falta de organização no aeroporto em Guarulhos, o Chris uma vez passou pela fila dos brasileiros (porque tava uma zona e ele foi seguindo a muvuca) ao chegar e ninguém percebeu, ele entrou no país sem carimbo e sem perguntas, hehe, e ele tem o passaporte pra provar.

Quanto à passagem, tem que estar no nome idêntico ao documento que vc usará para fazer a viagem. Se for o passaporte (já que vc está indo pro Brasil), então eu entendo que o bilhete deve ter o seu nome de solteira, até que vc renove teu passaporte no Brasil, com seu nome atual. Já na volta é que vc deve ter tudo certinho, como a Nessa falou, pra chegar lá nem se preocupe com essa questão do passaporte vencido.

Meu medo ta sendo como embarcar...ja que a passagem estara no nome de casada e o passaporte em nome de solteira...de todas as maneiras irei no consulado legalizar minha certidao de casamento e por tel. me falaram que com a certidao de nascimento eu poderia renovar meu passaporte...vai entender esse povo... :girlwerewolf2xn:

HAHAHA, mas você se esqueceu da principal qualidade das pessoas nascidas em 15 de junho: A HUMILDADE!
