Imagine Luke's expression when the consul told him I said I was still in relationship with Lais's father. :wacko: I got very scared. My ex-husband has been married 5 years now. Luke has a good friendship with him.

I don't care about Carnival either. The only thing I loved about Carnival was the long holiday and spending it at the beach.

Wow...Luke and Rosana, I feel so bad that you had to go thru that. In my opinion, the consular office has to play it cool to test the ones who are applying for a visa. But I guess sometimes they go too far.

In our case I felt that he was a bit suspicious about our relationship too. I thought he asked too many questions and wasn't very friendly at all. But we were calm and he could see that we were honestly a real couple. We had lived abroad together. I guess that helped because he realized I didn't want to just move to the US, I wanted to be with Scott no matter where.

Oh well...who knows....maybe he was having his PMS! :lol::lol::lol:

To be honest, I think that there were something wrong with the guy. He tried to 221(g) me on the grounds that I lied on my J-1 visa application, but didn't even bother to look at our evidence.

Just a strange fellow...

Eu também não ligo prá Carnaval não, mas adoraria desfilar por uma das escolas de samba do Rio só pela experiência. Dizem que é alucinante! Fora isso, prefiro ficar longe da confusão, curtindo o feriadão. Se bem que na maioria das vezes eu tive que trabalhar na segunda... :crying:

Hermes e Renato? Nunca ouvi falar....eles são de Sampa?
