He was overreacting though, I've been shocked by eletrical showers a bunch of times before and it's nothing like that at all. It's a little shock that scares the hell out of you, but it's just a little shock anyway. I mean, it can leave a nasty feeling in your arms but it certainly won't kill you or leave your hairs on end. I do hate eletric showers for the miserable amount of water it usually lets out. :P

My house had those powerful big gas heaters outside of the house attached to a pressure pump, it was LOTS of water, strong enough to massage your skin if you wanted and it could be boiling hot if you wanted as well. Perfect for the cold town I lived in.

yeah, first time i took a shower in brazil.......noticed this funny looking contraption for a shower head. a wire coming off of it and plugged into the wall.......

i thought to myself. i'm about to take a shower heated by 220 volts in a shower head that was made by the lowest bidder..... i was busy composing my obituary the entire time i was in the shower.

Hey guys,

Marcela

the electric shower heater scared me scared.gif

This was my first thought too when I seen the shower head even with the wires coming out I had to ask how to get hot water. :o On my second trip here I forgot how to work the shower again to get hot water, and after 2 days of cold showers, I finaly broke down and asked Ro to show me again. You know in USA the cold water comes first then the hot. I was lost.

One of my favorite things about Sao Paulo is the street market. I love all the fruits and fresh meat I would fear to go there alone because I would buy everything.

I remember the first time Ro took me with her to the street market, how strong she was, and how she was tasting everything and telling the sales person Não, I could speak forever about the things I love about Ro but just one of the things I love about her is her ability to say Não in her strong voice to these people I loved so much.

I told Ro never do this in USA in the stores they would put you in jail  She looked puzzeled at me and said Luke why would they do that ? You can no tast what you go to buy, what kind of person buys something they can no tast what is that. Ro always says if I no like I will not buy.....I love this woman........

Vai dar tudo certo Marcela. Pensamento positivo  beijos!!

:ranting:
