Eu espero descobrir hoje, estou voltando na agência para pegar as passagens e ver se ele conseguiu alguma informação da Continental (a empresa que eu vou). Ele me disse uns USD 400.00, eu acho um absurdo, mas não tenho certeza do valor.

Ele vai no porão, com injeção para dormir.

Meninas, estou indo comprar a passagem agora após o meio dia. Minha entrevista é na terça dia 10, na quinta dia 12 é feriado, queria opiniões, eu fico lá o dia 13 sexta e volto pra cá a noite só pra garantir os 2 dias para conseguir o visto, ou eu arrisco voltar dia 12 a noite torcendo para que eles me entreguem o visto no dia 11 (dia seguinte a entrevista)? O que vocês fariam?

Porque vai ficar bem corrido pra nós, vou ter que pegar meu gato, minhas malas, não vou ter nem tempo de fazer um churrasco de despedida com o Charles e terei metade de 1 dia pra fazer isso aí me mandar para o aeroporto para a gente ir para o Kansas.

About the comments that you have written in your post and the post that Carol&Marc made in our site with quotes (???) , I just wanted to clarify that it is only miscommunication, only that. Definetly not calling you crazy...or talking bad about brasileiros.. I actually love everything related to Brasil: music, culture, people, places.

I understand that you did not like the expresion "...CADA LOCO CON SU TEMA..." . which is not ofensive for venezuelan people, at all! It is just a way of saying : everyone has his hobbyhorse. It is better explained in the very famous song Joan Manuel Serrat:

y baja las escaleras como quiere"

It is a sentence that serves to explain the attachment that each one has by its own one seem, like the crazy people who, generally, talk about a subject that is its obsession. Formerly, they used to finish the phrase with... and each wolf by his footpath.

In other Latin cultures people say: cada chango su banana, cada poli su macana, cada chango a su mecate

We don't want to argue, discuss, offend, etc, and thats why I even bother written this. I started one year ago our venezuelan post, and don't want to see it change like many other post in vj.

Just to let you know that at least in 3 different moments we had requested to be pinned and there was no positive answer to that request. That's it. We don't want to start little stupid fights with you people. Normally, venezuelans are very friendly, calm and outgoing persons. So... PEACE, brothers. That's it.

I can say for myself I'm done wasting my time with some people here in VJ, so much that it's very rare for me to show up on OT, for example, I only show up there when Charles send me links of something that's going on and I go, read and leave.

I can also say for sure that I really enjoy this regional discussion part of the site, because I'm among friends here, and we discuss problems related to our petitions, we also have fun, and there is no drama nor rudeness we find in places like OT and others.

I have nothing against venezuelans, actually I've never even met one So my suggestion is let's keep ''Regional Discussion > Latin America, Mexico & the Caribbean'' a very nice and helpfull place to hang out in VJ, because there aren't many more...

Anyway, changing subjects..

We joke around about we "being important now" because that is what we, Brazilians, do... we didn't post it in any other thread, wanting to rub it in like "Look how important we are now.. na na na na" we made the comments right there in our thread... EDIT: Nessa, eu fui pela Continental tb e eles trataram os animais muito bem. Nenhum deles chegou com perna quebrada ou nenhum arranhao, mas vai se preparando eh caro mesmo: vc liga pra CIA Aerea e eles falam 100 doletas neh??? Errado, qdo vc realmente comeca o processo vc vai ver q vai ter q pagar agente da policia federal e ai vai um monte de dinheiro...
