####### is a "presente de grego"??

Portugal

Oh ok. :)

Valeu!!!

OUR COMPLETE TIMELINE

Latest steps:

10/26/2006- Consulate receives case (seriously, one month to receive the case?? BS!), and packet 3 that I sent even before they had received the case.

01/02/2007- Interview!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got a 221(g)

01/23/2007- Second Interview. VISA granted!!!

01/29/2007- VISA arrived.... no envelope though. I'm gonna contact them and see what happened this time!

01/31/2007- I'll have to send them one last financial support evidence.

02/01/2007- Evidence sent

02/02/2007- Evidence received by Consulate

02/06/2007- Consulate sends envelope!

I know the proof of citizenship can be a copy. It can even be a copy of a certified copy. The birth certificate has to have his parents' names on it to be considered acceptable proof, I think.

Thanks Alex, that's what I thought. To me, as long as it's a certificate issued by the government, with his parents' names on it, it should be okay.

David was actually the one asking me to make sure with you guys... :P

Ai que bom que chegou Carol! :)

Chuta a TPM pra lá!

Guys, for the affidavits of support (mine and my dad's) I printed them on separate pages and then had them notarized. I didn't get them printed on two sides of the same piece of paper. Did anyone else do that? Is it going to be rejected?

Alex, my lurve...

The document printing guidelines for gov't forms are all the same. You can either print it out on the same page, being the back page upside down, or you can print them out in different pages.

No need to worry.

Now the problem could be the notarized part. Is only one page notarized? Or all the pages has some sort of stamp by the notarizer?
