Eu recebi hoje uma carta da Social Security Agency dizendo que eles estão emitindo o meu SSN card e que devo recebê-lo nas próximas 2 semanas. Bom, se a carta chegou espero que o cartão chegue também!!

Tenho que admitir que sou muito sortuda, pois tenho carteira de motorista e posso ir e vir a hora que quiser. A minha sogra me emprestou o carro dela enquanto eu ainda não posso comprar o meu. E já vou poder começar a procurar emprego, porque o meu visto é o greencard e o SSN deve estar vindo em breve (e com essa cartinha já posso trabalhar). Espero que todas vocês (e vc também, Rey) possam fazer isso em breve também!!!!! :luv:

Eu acho que eles sempre dizem que vai demorar mais do que realmente demora!! Acho que o AOS da Vanessa (Brasilitaliana) demorou uns 3-4 meses.

Eu acho que só vamos conseguir mandar ano que vem, pois ainda nem conseguimos a pessoa para traduzir minha BC. Terça que vem vamos voltar no ss office para ver como está o andamento.

Meninas tenho novidades, hoje fui tirar minha driver's license. A mulher falou que quase me reprovou pois eu excedi o speed limit em uma área (eu tenho o pé pesado, não foi minha culpa :P ), bom mas consegui, foi bem fácil. Hoje finalmente posso ir comprar os presentes de Natal do meu amado e ir par a academia :dance::dance::dance:

Parabéns Nessa!!!

Eu ainda vou levar um tempo dirigindo só com a international driver's permit porque parece que vou ter que fazer a prova escrita aqui, pegar uma temporária de 30 dias, e depois fazer a prova prática. Daí pra escrita vou esperar me acostumar mais com o espanhol.

EDIT: Uma das cartas de emprego ficou pronta hoje. Yay! Mais um passinho pra dar entrada no AOS.

Eu fiz o teste de vista, escrito e direção tudo em menos de 1 hora e recebi um papel temporário, que posso usar para dirigir, a driver's license vem pelo correio em uns 20 dias.

Rey, é a terceira alegria minha, pois em 1997 tirei a carteira B (quando fiz 18), depois tirei a carteira AB (moto, adicionei o A) e agora a americana, então 3 vezes :D
