Is the passport number the same as visa number???

On part 3 there is a box that says " Non-immigrant visa number", but on her K1 visa, would that be the passport number?????? are they the same??? There is also a number on the K1 visa that says Control number. Thanks

No, Passport number should be detailed on your ID page of your passport... a number assigned by your country who issued the passport. The visa number is located on the visa itself that was placed in the passport by the consulate
