Hello All,

Well i was awarded citizenship recently,my husband and I both have our moms and our little sisters in Ghana. Our sisters are about the same age. My husband is now starting his Naturalization process. I wanted to find out what i should do.

  • can I file for both our moms and little sisters until his naturalization is done.

  • When I file for my mom will I have to file a seperate form for my little sis too? This will make the total 710?

I will join the military, Should I wait until after I have joined to file or should I start now.

I dont know where to start or end. I also want to have my dad and my aunt pledge financial support, Can I do that?

You cannot apply for any "in-laws"... nobody can do this...

Yes, each immediate relative will need a separate I-130

YMMV

Ok thank you for your reply.

I hope you realize your "lil' sis is a bit more than 10 years away from a visa while "mum" is maybe a a little under a year away

as said, since you have become a USC, you can file for your family, since you need the copy of the certificate of naturalization or copy of US passport to file for each one of your family, mom and sister.

when your husband becomes a USC after the oath ceremony and has his own certificate or US passport, he can file for his family, mom and sister.

each one separatly.
