I'm not hinting or anything but you need to upgrade and get another iphone so you can play words with friends with me. Not that I'm addicted LOL

LOL I have it on my phone already. :D I was getting pretty bad before I left; I had like 15 games going at once.

I have T-Mobile and I love it. We have a family plan with my in-laws and sister in law and the hubs and I only pay $40/month each for our plans with unlimited texting and data (we have blackberries).

I was paying like $90/month in Canada for just a regular phone with US long distance.

We have a Time Warner home phone so I just use that to call Canada. If I need to call someone in Canada on my cell phone, I'll use Google talk.

When I'm in Canada my phone works on Wi-Fi, so I just use it in my house and anywhere with wi-fi. Works out pretty well!

Hi All,

I was in the US for 6 months last year working and so during that time I signed on with AT&T. I moved back to Canada this year to get the K1 process started and took my US AT&T phone with me. Initially I was debating keeping it or not (ahem roaming fees!) and around that same time AT&T released this great plan called "Nation with Canada". On this plan you can have 450, 900 or more minutes for respective $59.99, $79.99 etc. per month. These minutes are good for calls in US or Canada and while you are in Canada there are NO roaming fees (for any calls). Also NO long distance fees for calls ANYWHERE in Canada/US. Now if you have a smart phone (iphone) it also gives you discounted data roaming fees while you are in Canada at $2/MB. Which is less then the usual $30/MB or so when roaming. Of course when you're back in US the unlimited data kicks back in and you have unlimited mobile to mobile AT&T/A-list perks. I'm sure many of you may already know of this plan, or if not hope it helps!!

Hey glad you posted this. My wife and I were discussing this very plan two days ago and likely we'll go for it. I'm still needing to talk to family in Canada and I'd rather have a cell than cell and land line. Besides when we had hooked up a land line while I was there for 5 weeks, it was a pain in the butt because of all the stupid telemarketers and spam ####### that everyone and their dawg called in about ....sooooo that doesn't happen with cells.

So ya , this looks good. I laughed when I saw this tonight and had to reply.

AT&T homephone also has the unlimited calling plan for $5.99 a month. It was like I struck gold when I found that out one day. Right now Mathew is still in the mindset that he doesn't need a cellphone because he's never had one. He barely uses his blackberry, but I swear I will bring him over to the darkside.

My husband and I are looking into AT&T's home phone unlimited calling to Canada. But from what I read, I would have to have the unlimited U.S. long distance first (which I don't currently have) and it costs $25. My husband still doesn't want a cell phone either because he never really used one. I was just curious if you had the unlimited U.S. long distance or one of the other long distance plans from AT&T.
