Hey everyone,

I'm traveling to USA this month God willing, but i don't know what to do when i get to the airport in America, Should i ask to go to the immigration office, or just hold the yellow folder and they will find me. And how long should it take and what would they ask me.

What should i except from them to give me, green card, work stamp, what else ?

Thank you for your help everyone, and if anyone got any advice, it would be amazing.

Just follow the crowd, everyone must go to through an immigration booth. When you get to the hall just get in line. When it is your turn just hand them your passport and the envelope. Time will depend on how busy the POE is at the time of entry. If busy they may ask you to go to secondary inspection. Just answer the officer's questions and follow his directions. You will not get a physical greencard but they will put a stamp in your passport.

After clearing immigration you will need to find your luggage and go through customs.

YMMV

Probably not, they sometimes do not issue 10 GC to those who cross AFTER their 2 year anniversary. It has been debated that the visa must be issued after the 2 year mark, not when you enter the US.

But you can always ask

Good luck

thank you for your help.

I'm one month from completing 2 years of marriage, do u think they would give me the 10 years green card ?

If you enter even a day before your 2 year wedding anniversary you are guaranteed a 2 year card.

YMMV

OK, i guess it won't be a big deal but after the 2 years end, what should i do to renew it?

And at that immigration office, can they give me a number to call to check with them my status and what to do after arriving, regarding other papers or procedures?
