Hey everyone,

I have a question regarding the new I-134 form for K-1 visas. At the very end, were the sponsor signs, there is a space provided, and when you leave the cursor on it, it says : "Enter Relationship". It's weird because it's right in the middle of the text, and seems to have no relation to the text itself...

The example on here is the old version, so it does not help with the problem, but has anyone else noticed that? And what exactly do you put there?

Thank you so much for answering, I'm trying to complete eveything before my interview, and that's the last problem I'm facing!

Hi Vero,

So yeah I just looked at this too it just gives me a blank space to type in text as you said right in the middle of the oath before the signature. My fiancee nor I hadn't even noticed it. Hhhmm, I'm going with leaving it blank and that its a mistake on the form. Cuz it doesn't make sense where it is...

Hope this helps...

Hhhhm on a related note are you putting "NONE" everywhere on the form in any blank spaces. As on the example I-134 on VJ it leaves blanks for example on question 1 a, b, c etc. So i've just left those blank.

I kind of panicked when I saw your post about expiring I-134 forms. My interview is in two weeks and I don't think I could get the new forms filled out in time.

I looked on VJ for advice and read that the expiry date refers to the edition of the form expiring. When I looked at the USCIS website it notes that 'previous editions are accepted'. So I guess the date doesn't really matter??

I hope this is correct. Anyway, I guess I'll let you know after the interview. If you can have the forms filled out again, do it. Better safe than sorry I suppose. Hopefully I won't be sorry :crying:

Rose416, if you ask your fiance to fill it in and then mail it to you, wouldn't that work?

I'm sure if you printed out the page of the USCIS website, and brought that with you, that would work too (the one that states that it's ok to use the old form)...

Anyone else has toughts about the new I-134 form?
