Timeline

I filed K-3 visa may 2009, sent my files to los angeles sept 2009, said los angeles has jurisdiction over my case must wait 180 days for up date. called hot line march 2010 recieved letter to go to Los angeles uscis with more info on my case, made info pass march 26 2010 went to office was told " I don't know why they sent you this letter we don't have your file it has ben sent to storage". The offficer told me to call the help line again, and ask for an immigration officer. I called and was told they would find out what info was needed and send me a letter. I recieved another letter in april 2010. exact same letter as first make an appointment go to Los angeles with more info on my case. april 26 one month after first trip to Los angeles office I made info pass went! same story we don' have your file it is in storage!!!! I asked to speak with a supervisor, had to fill out a request and answer questions on why I wanted to see a supervisor. He (supervisor) shows up stands behind lady helping me at the window never says ONE WORD TO ME tells her to call storage facility in missouri ( later I found out it is a HUGE cave with millions and milions of files) they call they don't seem to have my file, said maybe los angeles never mailed it, I was asked to wait a couple hours while they looked around for it, couldn't find it, SOOOO! the officer said she would do a "PRIORITY SEARCH" LOL!!! she would contact me in 3-5 days, NOT!!! april 26 2010 until may 6-7Nothing, Called the help line I think may 6 or 7 2010 before my flight may 10th this time the guy was nice took my name asked who the officer was said he would e-mail her and ask her to contact me. Again Nothin, I went to thailand may 10th came back june 11th no messages no e-mails still nothing, I called the help line again june 12th this time the guy was a @$$$ H#%#^ He said "WE ARE JUST A ANSWERING CENTER YOU NEED TO GO BACK TO LOS ANGELES" OOOOKKKKK!, I made another appointment for june 18th 2010 info pass for los angeles I went down My number was called took all my paper work to the window, The lady just stared at the screen, I said MY FILE IS NOT HERE RIGHT!! She says to me " NO! BUT! we know where it is and we will have it sent here would you like to speak to a supervisor" YEEEESSSSSSS!!! I was sent to another window spoke with a supervisor she knew he stuff said she would take care of my case personally, she said why did you file I=129f it is not necessary I said I was doing K-3. she said 'NO YOU ONLY NEED I 130 I will call you in 2-3 weeks" The other officer laughed and said " I bet you heard that before" I waited and decided to make another appointment july 23 2010, I was SHOCKED on the 12th of july monday The officer called, she said " IHAVE YOUR FILE IN MY HAND YOU HAVE A FRESH I-130 INSIDE AND I-129" I said I made an appointment for the 23rd. she asked if I could come down on the 13th I said I will be there, I was ther at 6:40am already 50 or more people ahaead of me to go in, they opened at 7, I was asked by one of the guard at the door if I had and appointment I said NO but was suppose to meet A supervisor named RAD, He said come this way She is a good supervisor she will take care of you she is very smart. I said good, I met her right away, she had my file in hand, Gave me a pass for the 6th floor went up to room 6024, she carried my paper work hand delivered it to this guy in charge with the power to approve it right now. He called me in, made a comment this is your 3rd marriage and her first, I said yes sir, He said "WOW Big age difference hows that going" I said fine we get along great her family likes me her friend all like me, " I see you have a 1-129 you need to write a letter and withdraw that now" I wrote a letter sighned it and asked him if he could approve it now. 'I could approve it now, that is why I am looking on the computer looks like your case was never logged into our system" He said it will take 2-4 days to log it and I should receive a letter. AND TODAY!!!!! I did my approval notice NOA and it is being sent to NVC in Portshmouth NH. I still have a few months to go, but at least it is finally back on track,
