Hello, Sweetgirl,

Thank you so much for your advice, which are definitely helpful to us. We greatly appreciate it.

TWO MORE QUESTIONS FOR YOU:

1. How long did it take you to recieve the acknowlegement of change of address on the SPONSOR since you mailed your request?

2. We did receive a letter asking for our old card signed by someone, who I think is the deputy director at Nebraska Center. Do you suggest we can address our change of address letter directly to him?

THANKS AGAIN!!! (F)(F)(F)

HI!

I am glad to help you and here are the answers:

1) It took about 2 weeks to receive an Acknowledgment on the I-865. The acknowledgement was written on the name of the Sposnor , on my husbands name in my case.

2) Thats good! If you have received the yellow letter for the old card request and there is the name on the bottom of the Officer or Deputy and her/his signuture that you Defenetely need to write to him/her personally ., because as we have realized the person who sends a yellow letter to you is basically going to work with your file. That very officer is going to send and Approval letter to you on the I-751 later on in the future.

So ,also don't foget to write on the back of the Express Mail Envelope as ATTENTION TO : THE NAME OF THE OFFFICER( IN RED LETTERS). and I-865 and Ar-11 and etc...

Please note: Even that we have changed the adress and mailed all of the necessary forms and called them., The Approval letter on the I-751 was delivered to the New Adress and the New adress has been also indicated on the top of the Approval Letter as it supposed to be.

BUT!!!: The Actual Physical 10 yearGC was delivered to the Old Adress and thanks God my husband have found it in the mailbox there As the old house was on Sale at that time. :hehe:

So you should watch out carefully as this might happen to you as well.

If you have moved to the new house and in case if your old house is on sale you should check the old adress regulary after the Approval letter arrival. Or if the house is going to be sold by the time of the Approval letter arrival time make sure that the new owners will be notified about possible GC arrival or if you have rented the old house make sure that the new Tenants are going to be notified about that event as well.

Anyways, the most important thing still is that you have notified the INS about the Change of Adress and you wont need to worry about anything anymore as you have followed the immigrations laws correctly and been a good alien and that the good thing.

Best Wishes. (F)

Sincerely.
