Glad to hear that your case is finally expedited!

What did you learn in the process? The operators in USCIS are mostly useless to deal with. Also, it is very painful to get them online as well, after a long wait.

Can you please outline here, the exact content and the emailid that you addressed to CSC? Of course you can mask the sensitive data.

Loto

Thanks Lotofpatience,

What I really learn is "lot of patience" Lol...

like u sayd, the operators is really useless, anyway...this is the e-mail that my husband sent(not him, I did sent Lol...I just used his e-mail, he has no patience Lol...)

I sent to csc-ncsc-followup@dhs.gov

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am inquiring about this case # WAC.......... I was hoping this case would be expedited to catch up with my wifes case so both could go to interview at same time, but my wife had already her interview on July 09, 2010, and she got already her CR-1 Visa. So I would like to know if can speed up the process of my stepdaughter, since my wife already has her Visa, and the classes began in August and would like my stepdaughter to come soon.

Originally our petition was for a k3/k4 and my stepdaughter was in it, but because the policy change as of feb 1 2010 our petition was changed to CR1/CR-2 thats why we had to submit a separate I 130 petition for my stepdaughter. I received my Stepdaughter Noa-1 on April 16, 2010.

Please consider expediting my stepdaughter petitions case # WAC.........

(Stepdaughter name) - Case # WAC......... (steapdaughter)

Date of Birth: 00/00/00

(wife Name)

I-129F Case# WAC..........

I-130 Case# WAC.........

NVC Case # RDJ.......

Husband Name

Date of Birth: 00/00/00

Sincerely,

BP.

Renatavivi, Thank you so much for giving us the outline of your RFE response! (I can use this template to send email to VSC to expedite the case. But I am not sure they will expedite my case. Yours were MORE valid for expedite)

Then why don't you call your husband "lackofpatience" as I do my wife. I liked your funny quotes

Darnell is really good help to others, as many others do here.

simply, because he has no patience, when I start to explain it to him, he begins to understand, but when he has to call USCIS or NVC he dosen't understand anything what the operator says, it seems that he doesen't speak English LOL....

Hey guys, I am not sure the expedite option would apply in our case but hoping you can share your opinions. My wife is here in the US and we are doing AOS, she has her interview on 8/24. Her children are in their home country and we filed their I130's back in May. So, once my wife's GC is approved, do you think we could ask for these cases to be expedited? Again, not sure if the situation allows for expedite process but would like to hear what you think.

Thanks

She has B1/B2 Visa

OK - so she should be filing

I-130

I-485

etc etc

if filed together, then must wait for AOS approval

if not filed together (I-130 filed prior to I-485) and the I-130 is already approved,

then you have some hope to try for an expedite.

but larger 'end-game' is to wait for the AOS approval, before asking for the expedite.

Will it work? Hard to say, these are 'hit and miss'.

Is it worth trying? absolutely !
