I didnt have to wait to put my numbers in the system for some reason. Got my notice in the mail, came in and put it in the computer. Some people have to wait, others dont. Same for any other part of this process.

i had the same problem. we got the NOA for AOS and EAD on Jan 25, and our case wasn't available online until yesterday, the day after biometrics.

when we went in for biometrics, i asked the nice lady there why i couldn't check the status online and she said that there are multiple uscis systems and they aren't connected. she kind of laughed and said "i know it doesn't make sense. i'm sorry! but it should be up there soon, so just keep checking."

hmmmmm, different systems that aren't connected.... that would explain a lot of uscis behavior. well, except WHY they have multiple systems that aren't connected!

just keep checking, it will come when you least expect it.

Adele

That is your NVC assigned case number for the consulate in London. It is not a USCIS application receipt number so it will not show up in that database.

I mailed AOS and I-131s for myself and my daughter on Feb 6th 06 and our NOAs were dated Feb10. The checks were cashed Feb 14th and we were on the system when I checked today(after checking every day this week) I guess it just takes a few days to get on the system. Things seem to be moving along so far. Good luck to all going through this long and gruelling process to be with the ones you love. And THANK YOU GOD for this forum I would be lost with out it and all you wonderful people who write on it

I notice you are in Virginia. We are too. When did you send your AOS/EAD papers in? Where will you go for you bio and interview?

I got my AOS, EAD, AP NOAs on February 1st. The biometrics appointment notice arrived a few days later, and it is scheduled next week. As of now, my case numbers are not updated in the INS dbase. The INS lady told me it could take up to a month to have my numbers keyed in.

I think my post went to the wrong person. When did you submit your AOS/EAD papers? Where will you go for bio?

ummm....sort of like the way they collect biometrics at airports and sub-offices, but they aren't linked into any central system.....true, believe it or not.

Now that's gonna catch some terrorists, uh-huh.......

Hi,

I often checked my status on line. Yet, no luck on the updated news, unless I got touched on Dec 28. I got no touched since then. Just today, I got my bio letter of AOS + EAD for bio appt. on next week. And I verified this on line status, still no change or the status is still touched.
