aos and unemployed

here is my situation. im sure uve probaly heard somewhere about the delphi bankruptsy thats going on now. they are giving us a buyout to leave our jobs. my husband and i have already had our aos interview but still waiting on those stupid fbi checks. if i sell my job will that hurt our aos? u know i had to sign that paper (cant remember now what the name of it is) saying i would be financially responsable for 10 years. without a job im not sure if that will hurt our case or not. i have the option to stay on my job also...but now my husband would like for me to take the money and run and put it on the house.

Unless something unusual happens the I-864 has already been reviewed and accepted.

Recognize, however, that I-864 does not obligate you for 10 years. Could be more, could be less. Or yes, it could turn out to be 10 years by coincidence.
