based on our experience, we called Dr Steiden's office to book and you should do it asap as theres a lineup

make sure that you had all the evidence of previous vaccinations for adults and children

no fasting is required for us. Pay is 275/person. They will ask you to come back on the next day you will get the result, if not pay if you want it delivered.

How long is the wait in Montreal after submitting RFE requirements?

We submitted the document required ( i-864 and 2009 taxes of the co-sponsor) one week after our interview

We also send back our Canadian passports as indicated

We sent it through DHL Brampton in which I originally signed up for

I did not pay shipping as DHL said US embassy has an account

Tracked the package and it is now in the hands of the Emabassy.

For those with similar cases, how long does it take for the embassy to review, reply and approve your VISA?

The dr Seidans office in Toronto or MTL? We have already booked the appointment for the 6th of Dec (our interview is the 9th) in Toronto. The lady I talked to on the phone there assured me there is meter parking around. We are going to get my husbands flu shot this Friday and also the rest of his titers tests. (a couple months back on the website there was a direct link of which ones you needed) and we got all of those but on the P4 lettter there is a list that is substantially longer. so we are going to get the remainder of the titers done Friday as well. Also getting a letter from the dr saying that husband has lymphomas on his body but they arent cancerous or harmful in anyway. Nor do they need to be attended to by a dr as they are just part of him:)

That's awesome, glad I could help. :)

The P4 letter just says the consulate has completed the review of the IV case, you are now ready for an interview, then has the instructions for the website to go and book your date, the fees (they accept credit card), and the documents you need to bring (same as what was on the P3 checklist). Also contains instructions for booking your medical.

Nothing you haven't already read. I think you should be ok with your P3 and your interview printout.

 WOO HOO!!!! I finally got my package!! Now I'm on my way.

Next question, does anyone know if there is a difference between a Tetanus booster and a TDAP shot? I though I had read a while back that it had to be a TDAP shot.

Congrats on your packet....

I have no idea what the difference is. Im freaking about the immunizations a little now too bc the orriginal thing only had like five things you needed to be immunized for but now its got all kinds of wierd stuff on it (like the mengiccol and Hep A) which my dr said wouldnt be appropriate for my husbands age....Im thinkin of maybe just showing them what we have and letting them give him whatever else he needs. LOL. Supposedly we have to pay for the vaccines either way?

Don't worry. Just follow the requirements for his age group on this page Seiden clinic.

"Td is a tetanus-diphtheria vaccine given to adolescents and adults as a booster shot every 10 years, or after an exposure to tetanus under some circumstances. Tdap is similar to Td but also containing protection against pertussis."

I had the Adacel shot at my family physician's office, this covers Tdap.

I highly suggest having titer tests done at your doc's office so you can see what/if any vaccinations you need to get.

Congrats, you can rest easy now. The interview isn't (shouldn't be) stressful. :)

You should be able to follow the instructions here Ages 18-64.

The P4 letter lists every possible vaccination that people might need to have. You shouldn't need all of them.

For example, meningococcal is only for 18 and under, flu shot is only for 50 and over.

I was told I can go with him and I will. That I was told when I filed the I-130 in person in Montreal.

I have a question?? We had his pics done this weekend in the USA and they didn't date stamp it. Do the pics for the interview and medical need a date stamp??

Also I filed tax returns but have no income. I don't work, it's all zeros. I will bring them, but will that be sufficient?? Since they are all zeros and the IRS never sends anything unless there is a refund or a problem, they don't even want you to file if you don't have to. I was told that myself from an IRS agent who said if you don't have to file, don't file. I have zero income. I am going to assume this is ok since I'm using assets not income for the affidavit of support.

It was prepared by an accountant in the USA and his name is on the returns as well as the prep person etc.

I had my husband's flu vaccine done in the USA and I had our doctor in the USA run the test for the chickpox antiboby and it came back in 24 hours showing he has the antibodies. I didn't test for anything else since he was born before 1956 and hence it says he doesn't need that shot. Got the letter from the doctor saying he has the antibodies for the chickenpox. That was quick 24 hours. Gpt proof from the parmacy in the us that he had his flu shot too. He has a paper saying he had a smallpox vaccine and anti-teberculosis vaccine from his childhood.

Tdap, he had a td booster a few years ago and if he needs one they will just give it to him. Otherwise I think we are good his medical is this coming week in Montreal.

Good luck to all with upcoming interviews. I wonder how Jadenjewel did???
