How long does it take for DS-230 to appear on AVR?

Hello dear VJs,

I have just a brief question on I-864 and DS-230: how long does it usually take NVC to put the received packages into their system?

Mailed both the forms via USPS this Monday, and according to their operators it can take from 4 to 6 weeks. Is that really so long?

Could you please share your experience on this matter? Any information is highly appreciated!

Hi!! I talked to Supervisor last afternoon and she told me that it is taking longer because there are many cases. It used to take few weeks to update but now it seems that it will be taking those weeks. I sent my package out from 16 of June and received by NVC on June 23th it is still under review...but sometimes it is just luck. By the way my mom sent all the civil documents from Peru and I called USPS here and USPS in Peru and when i go to track the number it shows package is in customs from june 29th at the same time NVC got a package on July 2nd that is so weird because i am thinking of having my mom to request again all the original documents from Peru and send them by Fedex, DHL or UPS....I have such a headache right now at the same time i requested to expedite the case because my mom is very sick and is under treatment right now.
