I have done a lot of reading and I think I have this immigration visa thing about figured out......Except I am not clear on one item. I need to submit our documents, which are to be original documents to the NVC, along with our DS-230. Then these same documents are required at the Embassy for her interview. The question is...Does the NVC forward our documents to the Embassy, or do we need to bring another set of original documents to the US Embassy in Kiev? Thanks in advance for assisting us through this process.

NVC forwards documents to the Embassy.

Anything for the DS-230 will make it over, no problem.

If you are reading SPECIFIC EMBASSY INSTRUCTIONS on Immingant Visa, make SURE it's not about 'filing directly with the Embassy' - for if it is - that's a 'Direct Consular Filing' of the I-130, straight to Kiev, and you should not follow those instructions, at all .

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
