Let us be reminded Ancient Greek men were quite open to homosexual 'traditions.'

Arguing 'tradition' as an excuse against homosexuality proves an ignorance of history.

I still cling to the accurate speculation that many 'heterosexual' males stand out against homosexual behaviors due to some sort of homoerotic repression.

I am no expert but I know there are different brands of gays. Some are nasty violent and pushy homosexuals - what people would call perverts, weirdos, paedophiles etc - the ones with jam jar bottom glasses who hang around in toilets trying it on with teenage boys. The others are pretty much normal and quite personable and funny.

My barber in England was as gay as they come and we used to have some great repartee as he tried to convert me in front of a shopful of guys. We had a really good laugh. Another was a boozing mate of mine that I never suspected. We were in Munich when he introduced me to his boyfriend 'Lulu' who wore leather shorts and worked in a bar. These two guys were fine with me coz they knew I wasn't that way so we could laugh about it.

I guess the guys who I knew were more the marrying kind rather than the weirdos and toilet perverts. They were well developed personalities and funny and I would wish em all the best with marriage.

I am not sure about that theory that anti gays are a bit gay themselves. That might just be away of trying to frighten the antis to keep quiet. It's a complicated and pretty deep and secret subject. The antis I have known were ex military, so it might just be a cultural antagonism.

Personal reason? Are you attempting to resell Hal and Stevie's lame red herring that real men embrace homosexuality and that if you don't you're some sort of closet ** or toilet stall toe tapper?

When you can't debate the issues you smear the opponent? I hope that's not the tree you are barking up 'cuz that dog don't hunt.

There's no debate here - you've provided no argument whatsoever except for lame cliches about "tradition".

Yes, my entire post was about the year 2000 disregarding the other preceding thousands of years of civilization. I don't think you're that dense and your ability to evade direct questions is your annoying trademark.

Why is making up "rights" more important to you? It's not my issue but yours as I'm guessing sure you've posted a lot more on this than I have. I already went over this ground before and got the same useless doubletalk. Still haven't been able to come with even a flimsy theory as to how or why a fundemental right to gay marriage came to be nor the reason why child brides legally had a stronger position.

You asked why the gay marriage debate only came about in the last 10 years. Firstly, I'm not sure that it's true. Secondly, I don't see how it is relevant.

Feel free to explain.
