Connie Mack said we should dislike Chavez because it's an American thing to do.

I watched a show where he went toe-to-toe with Oliver Stone and Jessie Ventura about the subject. (Larry King, maybe?) Both Oliver (who'd just made a movie about Chavez) and Jessie (who's familiar with how the world works- first-hand) said we had nothing to worry about with Chavez yet Connie Mack sat there repeating over and over that we "had to" because of the "threat" Chavez and Venezuela posed to national security.

It doesn't sound like he gave a good case for himself but Chavez is a threat to our national security. I have no comment on the likes of Stone, Penn, and Moore types.

I really hope that you are trying to be funny here Slim. Have you read up on Venezuelan politics of the last decade? He will undoubtedly go down as one of the most acerbic and repressive leaders of the last century.

Ah yes, i know the pains of a stringent firewall/internet filter. Lucky for me, mine today is allowing youtube. So to recap, she is saying that Iran and Venezuela are working together. Iran is sending some of it's terrorists to Iran to learn how to speak spanish, learn the mannerisms and customs of hispanic culture for the specific purpose of coming to the U.S. through Mexico to infultrate the U.S.. Because they could camoflauge themselves as hispanics, they would not raise suspision of their plans.

I don't see why they wouldn't. Sneaking across the Mexican border is the easiest way to get into the country undetected.

I'm sure you can watch it on the net somewhere. It's important to note Connie Mack sits on the House Committee on Foreign Affairs. Sue Myrick sits on the Committee on Intelligence. If this is what we're getting from our intel and foreign affairs folks, you can only imagine what the conspiracy theorists are up to!
