Who wouldn't want to sleep naked with a wrinkled woman in her 50s?

I think some of these comments are getting kind of mean. I know Gary can be quite boastful at times which is bad form, but don't you think this is sort of turning into a "Gary Lynching"

Yes, it is. Join the party. He's a fighter, which makes it all more fun.

They don't just look at line 22 - I was employed abroad during the tax year that I filed and would have required a co-sponsor if they did as I earned little money in the US that year. Since my foreign source income well exceeded the requirements it seems that the whole of the 1040 is examined.

Besides, $55k is when you were working for someone else the year prior. No shame in that but why pretend your situation is otherwise?

Working abroad is not the same as self employed. When working abroad I could have shown my tax return and proof of my tax free income. When self employed in the US you list your gross revenue on schedule C, "Profit or Loss from a Business", deduct expenses and costs, and depreciation and put the result in the income column which goes to line 22. Business expenses and costs are NOT income and are not counted as such by the USCIS. Many self employed people with big homes (paid for) cars, boats, etc. show -0- "income" after all their wirte offs.

John Edwards, for example, showed that he made minimum wage in his law practice in order to avoid paying SS and medicare tax.

$55,000 (if you read the post) was my "current" income in 2008, NOT what I made the year prior. Read carefully, I was self employed until late in 2007, November to be exact. The income I had to show for my 2008 interview was my 2007 tax return. If you are trying to "prove" something about me, you should at least understand what you are talking aboout, and yes, $55,000 for a part time job, plus bonuses is pretty damn good, which is why I get to go swimming in the middle of the afternoon.

Well if you really had a rich man's income and you wrote everything off as a business expense you best pray you don't attract an audit - I've been through one and it is not fun.

By the way, I don't care if you are rich or poor. I have nothing to "prove" though you are trying quite hard to convince us otherwise when apparently you could be swimming

Passage Revelation 19:11:

11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

"satan is real and he's playing for keeps
God is realer and we are His sheep
which side are you on, CHOOSE, start moving your feet
choose JESUS and have ETERNAL PEACE" by GOD to me on 9/26/10 about 2am
Thank you Jesus!!!!
