What papers from Bank for Interview

Hi Everyone,

I have a quick question, we got our NOA 1 on Febuary 1st. I was just wondering what we need from the bank for my Interview in Germany so my fiance can get all the papers together. I know it will be still a while till we need all that but I just want to make sure we get everything together. I heard we need a bank letter but what kind of bank letter? Anything else?

And the other thing is, my fiancee never really put his checks from work on his account, he cashes them and afterwards he puts some money on the account, will that be a problem? He is over the poverty guide line, and saved up money as well.

What I'm thinking is your fiancé will need a letter from his bank stating when his account was opened and a record of deposits for a year. Hope this helps

You will need a letter from the bank stating when the account or accounts were opened, the total deposits for the past year along with the current balance in each account at the time of the letter being written.

Regarding the cashing of the check prior to depositing. The letter he needs from his employer will state how much money he actualy makes a year. He can also bring his W-2 and tax returns to show monies made in a year.

We just got an RFE yesterday, so my mood is kind of down...oh well we have to wait until we get it in the mail to see what they want from us.

If you look up at the top of the website at downloads, you will see form I-134 in there for K1 forms and on that form the instructions for the evidence they require is listed. You need to be sure that Germany wants the I-134, and if they also require an additional evidence. You might be able to find this by searching around on their Embassy website.
