hi friends,

first of all thanks you all for urs support and help in giving answers of my queries.my I-130 is approved on 6th july.now my case is referred to NVC.I wnat to know the processing time to complete NVC procedure.

Well, a lot of it depends on you. Do you have all of the required documents and forms ready to go? I admittedly was not, which delayed us by at least several weeks, because my wife had to send in things like her police record.

But really the best way to judge how long it will take is to look at the timelines of other people who are in the same stage as you. NVC received every document that they needed from us in early June and we still have not heard anything. This seems to be pretty common right now, meaning that NVC has slowed down a bit and that people who went through the process several months ago may give you an answer that is different from the reality right now.

It depends how you organize the stuffs before NVC asks for those documents. Its almost 4 months from the time NVC received your NOA-2 to set up an interview,For me it took total 3 months.go through this following link you might find it very helpful-

I just talked with NVC. It took them 11 days to actually enter my case into their system from when the package arrived at their address with the I 864 and DS 230. They entered the case over three weeks ago and said that I should expect to wait another 6-8 more weeks before they examine our case, because they are getting quite a bit more volume right now than they usually get. Now, I have found that most estimates have been conservative, but nevertheless it should give you some idea.
