is possible that they will 'waive' that document requirement at NVC, with the onus that you'll need to provide it at the interview.

NVC gives you ONE year to complete the NVC processing, so you DO have some time, at NVC.

But - you've already sent in the 'response' to the request, yes?

I'm thinking - IF you got a 'checklist response letter' with the PCC from Malaysia ticked off - there is OTHER WORDING in that 'checklist response' letter, telling you to have it by interview day.

But I'm grasping at straws - only you have what was 'sent to you', requesting that document. Only you know the contents of 'that letter'. Does it look like a checklist response letter, or is something else?

You should be able to talk with NVC Human, but ask for supervisor, tell them that the PCC from Malaysia will be available by interview day, then ask the supervisor to 'clear the hold' as well. The supervisor can't do it directly, alas, but will put in the request to the document review team that's handling the DS-230 .

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Yes, you can ask the operator for supervisor. Talk to her/him (supervisor)
