I tried to walk in at Las Vegas today again. Guard is ok and go in to ask an officer but a man said no. they told me no way to do earlier but only on or later. I will not try again. It seems las vegas has a different way to do fingerprint than other places. Las Vegas Biometrics walk in walkin no way no way

One Vj member from Las Vegas also tried the walk-in but wasn't allowed to do so... Your appointment will be two weeks from now. lets just keep our fingers crossed that after the Bio, our process will be process on time :)

BTW I tried to check my case online, with the number that appears in the back of the check but it was not possible. I think we'll just wait for the first NOA.

I am a July filer too-- mailed July 1st! Have done Biometrics and am waiting for some kind of touch or letter. How do you know if your file has been transferred? I am in New York, so would it go to Vermont? Is that good? Thanks!! Good luck to everyone.

I'm in Brooklyn as well. I'm not sure how to tell if/ when they transfer the file, but according to my timeline (I did my walk-in about 2 wks early as well). You should receive an interview letter about 1 wk after your original Bio appt was scheduled. From what I understand, that's when they transfer your file directly to the local office.

I think it does make a difference, how much, I'm really not sure. Being that you are in Brooklyn, you should get an interview at 26 Federal Plaza, in Manhattan, they do do interviews in Garden City (I think it's somewhere in Long Island). Good luck with everything, I'm sure you are going to be 100% ok :thumbs: .
