Yeah probably. CT was closed down and we never close! The mailman didn't even come today. We were snowed in. I'm seriously considering not working tomorrow cuz the snow is piled up to the door.

Try calling the Department of State (DOS). They have the same information that NVC has. Their number is 202 663-1225. I forget what the routine is to get out of the automated menu but you will have to speak to a Visa Specialist as the status of K-1 visas are not available through the automated menu. I'm kind of remembering "1" and then "0".

It's been 5 months and 17 days since i received my NOA 1 and i am still waiting like everyone else which is really freaking frustrating . I tried calling USCIS and all their options are for if there is a mistake or change of address, is there an option/number that will help me talk to customer service directly where i can at least know whats going on :( this sucks big time. Im probably going to get the same reply like the rest of the folks but i guess its just worth the try. I have not been touched once since the October 3rd mass touch, plus in my application i had written down the wrong consulate ( India has like 3 consulates , each consulate deals with cases from certain states) so i typed a letter and mailed it to them indicating the error and the consulate i would like to change it to but i have not received an acknowledgment (letter or touch) from them (that was back in october) indicating they had rectified the error. I am so frustrated with this waiting game....what do i do :(

I feel ya. My NOA1 was July 29. I gave up. All I can do is wait. From what I'm hearing from everyone else, calling, emailing or contacting your congressmen does NOTHING. I called them after my 5 months was up, and they fed me a whole bunch of BS about how I was still within processing times etc. They tell everyone the same thing. They also don't process them in order. How do I know? Igor's list showed a person with NOA1 December 1 and NOA2 Jan. 10. And it wasn't expedited military processing either. It's simply not fair and not right how they keep lying to us. There is no logic with the USCIS. In reality all you can do is wait. Sucks I know. :( You can try calling/emailing if you want, but don't expect to get very far. I hope you do, but as for me, I'm done. I've had enough and I don't really feel like calling them and wasting another 45 minutes of my life being lied to. Good luck!

(Boy I sure feel better having got that off my chest lmao)
