Hey everyone! Another July Filer!! I received my NOA1 on July 6 and I've been waiting since then!! I began another thread for prayer and warm thoughts for reuniting with our loved ones!!

Anyhow hoping and praying for the best!! I pray we'll all hear some good news by the end of this week and early next week!!

I dont think we are going to hear July approvals for at least another month

I know me too - sucks By the looks of it June approvals are starting to filter through so I think they are on June still

I really hope so.. I just want things to move so I have something to look forward to.. just staring into an abyss right now.. Rach and I have been together almost 3 years now and have had to deal with the long distance thing.. for some reason this is the hardest part.. so near yet so far!!

Totally get you, been 3 years for us too and now its just getting so close it seems more frustrating I just want a that tiny shred of light so I ahve some clue about when I can move! When I can start planning stuff!!

We just celebrated 3 years in July. When we were "only" dating, I used to head down there every 2 to 3 months. Now that we are serious, we have to be serious with the money as well. Went 2 times this summer and she has told me no more trips until the interview at the embassy. I know that she's right, but I am so bummed out. Then I know that there will be lots of expenses that must be borne so that I can't even show up and surprise her. I know that she would be happy to see me but I don't know what will have to be sacrificed to make the trip.

So after nearly 2.5 months of waiting, do you think it's safe to think we won't get an RFE? Do they even look at the files during this process or do you think they're just sitting there for months until someone discovers a missing signature, etc.? That would be awful...

I was thinking the same thing, it would be totally awful if we got 3- months into waiting and we then get an RFE - lets just pray we don't!

To be honest, alot of July filers havent been touched since initial filing so I think they ahvent even picked up the cases yet - still sat on in a box waiting to be looked at which means RFE's could start coming U just never know

We filed May 25th and havent had a touch since June 7th, so to be honest, RFE or not, I'm not sure July petitions have been looked at. I'm not trying to be the bearer of bad news, just being realistic. I used to check USCIS literally like 10 times a day and be all hopeful and keen and now I've just accepted it will be a wait that I'm not happy with, and have started counting days to when my fiance can make an inquiry past the 5 month day (46 days). At least it's something to have a "definite" on - that we can start asking questions in 46 days!

Every day I check my timeline, the date it says my petition will probably be adjudicated is usually a week later than before. So much for hoping we'd be married by the holidays.

Every day I check my timeline, the date it says my petition will probably be adjudicated a week later than before. So much for hoping we'd be married by the holidays.

At this point, I only hope that our interview will not be just before the holidays. Too many crazy things happen during this time of year, some good but others bad; but why take the chance. We originally talked about a February wedding but have been lately considering March.
