Bleh. I hope this coming week brings more VJ members approval. I'd like to see something moving forward. That gives me some skewered sense of hope that perhaps they are working closer to mine as well.

Hi all, I'm new to VJ, but first I'd like to say congratulations to everyone who has made it past NOA2! That's so great!

I don't remember the exact date I filed, but my NOA1 is dated July 29th. It's now been almost 4 months since then, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed, and praying! Hoping to be married by May 21, 2011, who knows, maybe I'll get lucky! I totally understand where everyone is coming from on the missing your SO and everything. I just got back from a trip to see my fiance in October, but I don't get to see him again until we get married due to financial issues. @_@ Eek! So here's hoping we get NOA2 soon. Again congratulations to everyone who has received their NOA2. It seems I was part of the "mass touch" on October 3rd, so maybe...just maybe it will happen soon lol. Hang in there guys, I know it majorly sucks right now, but it's soooooo going to be worth it in the end! :)

trying to stay positive here in "sunny" scotland but struggling!! currently snowed in which is just immense!!NOT!! Rachel called uscis twice last week.. first time she spoke to some ignorant jobsworth who gave her nothing.. second time she spoke to a lovely lady who understood our frustrations but just gave her the 5 months speech.. Our 5 months is up in a couple of weeks and I really hope they have an answer for us. Personally I think the whole process is completely wrong. I know a lot of people on this site give it the old "they do say 5 months so hold on" etc but Im getting thoroughly p****d off at seeing people who petitioned after us getting approved. Can I add that Im delighted for these people.. im just annoyed at the lack of communication and consistency in this whole process. We all put our faith in this and decided to do it the "right" way rather than just moving to the states and applying there. I feel like Im being punnished for doing the right thing!! Maybe I should have added this to YGR's brill vent thread .. Im usually really upbeat but its getting to me now. I miss my beautiful fiance, I worry about her and want to look after her. Thats my job and im frustrated that im not being allowed to do that.. thanks for listening peeps.. id be lost without VJ.. promise ill try to be more positive..

PS Guy walks into a store and asks for fly spray,

Shop assistant hands him a can

Guy asks "Is it good for wasps"

I know exactly how you feel. I think the whole process needs to be improved, whether by hiring more workers or changing the way they do things. Unless there is an RFE (a valid reason for a delay), they should not even look at August petitions until they get through the July petitions. I'm very happy for those people, too, because it's so nice when you get approved sooner than expected, but there's definitely a lot room for more consistency!!! I like your joke, though!

AMEN. I'm really happy for those people who got approved, but it's also really freaking annoying because I am 99.9% sure I did everything right and won't get an RFE. I mean I even went way overboard on organization and amount of proof etc. It makes so much more sense to do things in order... Although I suppose that maybe the people who got approved quickly were maybe the lucky(unlucky?) few who were eligible for expedited processing? Which would make sense as to why they got approved "out of order". -sigh- No way to know for sure. Still keeping my fingers crossed lol, I have two potential dates booked with my church, but my maid of honor leaves on a mission trip overseas the week after the 2nd date, and also has another wedding that she's the maid of honor at the same day. >_< So unless I get a miracle and we get the visa in time to send out the invitations for the March 26th date,(which doesn't look likely), I have no idea what I'm going to do. Ah well, everything will all work out one way or another. xD

Hello to all July Filers. This is my first time to post here, but I have been faithfully reading this forum for many months now. My fiance and I applied for the K-1 Visa and had an NOA 1 date of July 7. To date, we have still not received an NOA2. However, two weeks ago, a MIRACLE happend. Charles', my fiance, employer hired him for their US practice and decided to sponsor him for an L-1 Visa. Today he made his date for the US Embassy in Paris for December 22. This has all happened so quickly after so many months of frustration I can't even believe it. I just wanted to say thank you to all who post on this forum. I have read it faithfully for the past months in desperation of not receiving the NOA2, and each time it gave me a little hope. I have also updated my timeline so that it will not skew the results. Good luck to all of you!

So Paul called to USCIS yesterday, useless as always :bonk: they keep saying that we should call after our 5 months mark...he asked them why some people was already approved if they applied days even months after us and they just said every case is different....GOOD GRIEF!!!

Hope to have good news any time soon, we are just 2 weeks away from the 5 months

God bless you all of us in this annoying waiting

Patty ♥
