Depends on your embassy. Could be January, or February (This is more than likely). Maybe even March.

This timeline says on average Japan schedules about 57 days after the Consulate gets the information: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/stats.php?cfl=

So it could be about 1-2 months after a NOA2 in December.

Same here. One day closer right? Every week, I think this is going to be the week for the NOA2, then when that week is up, well we all know how that feels........ Then the new week starts the whole thing over again.

To quote a Mr. John Lennon: "While there is life, there is hope". I was hoping to get the NOA2 this month..........still hoping.

Thanks Blob18! Still quite a long way to go. I hope you get yours soon too.

No problem and thanks! Though I am probably going to get an RFE as I just noticed my fiancee just put her current job in the employment in last 5 years question on the G-325A. First/only job she ever had as she was in school full time so I guess she misunderstood the question and didnt add in "Unemployed from X to X" so there wasn't a gap in the 5 years.

Either way, just got done typing up a letter + the corrected employment info so IF I receive an RFE, I can send it off asap.

@Blob18 : Yes, it is good to be prepared. I hope they don't take an issue with that and able to correct it at a later stage. I am preparing some supplementary evidence since the time I filed. The idea that it might take another 2-3 months after receiving the NOA2 really makes me feel fed-up with the day to day routine. I hope USCIS officers get back to work on Monday.

I don't think you're gonna get an RFE for that. I have been employed for only 4 years, from October 2006 to present. I only put that on the form and was approved with no questions.
