Hopefully the rest of July can get some good news this month!

The last few days have been really good for me.

Passed my driving test (so I can drive as soon as I get there)

I've also been speaking to a Mac support company in New York who seem to be very interested in me once I can get my Employment Authorization and he emailed me today saying 'I hope we can talk next Thursday so we can get you lined up with something to look forward to come january'.

My October checklist is getting lots of checks right now :D

Plus Dawn will be visiting for Christmas, and I'm completely excited about that!

Start of relationship

??/07/2008 - A random Skype message came through to me from an American girl

14/02/2009 - After months of talking, the American girl flew over to me - I knew we were meant to be

18/08/2009 - I proposed to her on Brighton Beach, UK

K1 Journey

15/07/2010 - We finally put in the i129f application - after shortly considering me going there on VWP, marrying and trying to Adjust Status, but was too risky

03/01/2011 - NOA2 on the day Dawn returned to NY after spending Christmas with me

10/02/2011 - I visited NY for 3 weeks (let this hold up the K1 process)

28/02/2011 - Medical

29/03/2011 - K1 Interview at London Embassy - Visa granted!

01/04/2011 - Visa in hand

Next Stage

03/05/2011 - POE in JFK - can't wait!

04/06/2011 - Our Wedding Day :)

Sorry if I'm being unclear. When I checked the status this morning at 9:00am, the status still said initial review with an update date of 10/03/10. I got the text at 1:48pm and the status was Post Decision. When I checked the details, it said that they had approved it on 10/18/10.

Gotcha! Congrats! I hope the rest of the process moves quickly for you now!

well not necessarily for us,2 more people got approved today, and i believe in the cycle where VSC gets slow and CSC speeds up.

i wish they could both work equally quickly tho.

I'm happy for those getting their NOA2 but it really sux when people that filed days after you did it get approvals before you :(

I just don't get how VSC is handling petitions, they are not following a logical order

well its all about patience...God is in control

God bless you all
