Hi...this is start to be insane really!!!!

What is going on???? Are they tnink this is a game endurance??? or what??? It is not funny anymore

:devil::crying:

Hey, I stated a page ago that there is a presidental initiative to slow down processing of spouse visas for visas that have been lying around for a long long time and waiting for processing, like probably spouses of LPRs.

So the processing WILL definitely take 6-8 weeks. Better be prepared for it. :( Sorry.

they received my documents almost 5 weeks ago and still saying they are awaiting review. Something aint right i havent seen anyone for CR1/IR1 being processed. I know they saying that they are busier than normal but if normally they complete in an average of 11 days this would mean thier work load has to have increased by 4 times which is hard to believe. I've seen and heard of so much incompetance at USCIS and NVC i fear the worst, i mean it wouldnt be the first time they have 'mislayed' a whole box of applications

Sorry to be so down on things its just this process is beginning to get the better of me, our son will be two years old in a few weeks and every week he grows bigger and bigger without his daddy it's so cruel that he be kept from his daddy this whole process is torture Criminals are treated better than this at least they get to see thier loved ones and know how long they are in jail for!!!!

Another member posted this in a thread. I forgot his/her name but they got the information from a supervisor at NVC, or maybe it was a phone operator. But definitely a NVC source. :)

At least there is an explanation for the wait itme.

The reason we have to send our documents all the way to the US just for them to say yeah you have documents and send them all the way back again for someone else to actually review and adjudicate on, does seem kinda pointless but the reasoning behind it is to reduce the number of people/number of times people have to enter the embassy. This is part of a security tightning measure to make embassys safer...... ment to be.

I talked with a very nice lady at NVC today who was very helpful when I asked some questions about the delay in the process now. She said they have a 6-8 week BACKLOG so that means allow 6-8 weeks for "MATCHING UP DOCUMENT to your file"....Then after it is matched up ALLOW another 6-8 weeks for processing!

I asked her about our case in specific how this will work and she confirmed our DS-230 has been processed and completed and so has our AOS....We got an RFE asking for Casier Judiciaire (judicial record required for some countries-Morocco being one of those countries).......she did confirm since I told her it has all NIL's as did his police report....will this document require 6-8 full weeks and she said no...after they take the 6-8 weeks to match up to our file from back-log, this particular document should take just 3 days for completion and I asked if it would sppeed it up if I now e-mailed a copy of the document she has there waiting and she said NO! It will slow it up again to wait it out since we are 3 weeks now into our wait time for the backlog.........she said normally 3 days but she can not guarantee this since it does say on AVR to wait 6-8 weeks JUST INCASE.....anyway, I hope this helps others who are waiting like us and OH I asked her too should we not consider a September interview and if it is out of the question and she said more than likely no September interview looking at our wait time now!!!!!!!!

Well, its like that: in 6-8 weeks I think we will find out if we get an RFE or not. Because if they were processing our papers sooner, we'd also have a closed case sooner than 6-8 weeks. And if we get one, it will take even longer because additional paperwork needs to be sent. :wacko::bonk:

I know everythig but I think that is not correct...what is with people who get case complete only after 7 or 10 days. And for the RFE too. I know many people from my country they sent documents and if something is missing NVC a reply after 10 days about missing doc.

So I tnihk this is a not fair for us.

I am very angry and all that I said it would be very rudely :(:)

O.k New year is our year probably :ranting::angry:
