@lisa: legally counsulate can not challange you for various visit through out the year, while you are on Job. Given the economic reason and unemployment rate being high, and the fear of getting laid off, people are holding of their vacation. Even i wasnt planning on takeing vacation since i took them in January. Visit cost money and if you have dependents and you are the only person who is supporting currently, they can question why you didnt go for 2nd visit, you can simply say, i was unable to get days off from work.

Lastly, based on the dates, i am guessing you should be due in this week or next week. Because june dates are to be completed by the end of this week.

I did go for two visits...first Nov -Dec 2008 (Thanksgiving)...second trip April 2009 (married on April 24)....Our case was at NVC as early as March 2010 so we have been waiting for it to conclude, thinking anytime and have been postponing a trip feeling he would be here soon. It's CLOSE!! Thank you Jimmy and CONGRATS to all our VJ family on their cases coming to an end. I hope everyone gets their family home soon and our life's can become a reality and not this virtual world between us. NO MORE COMPUTERS!!!

Yahoo.. After a long wait I've got my Sign in Failed also to my case... And I already checked it thru AVR of NVC and our case was already forwarded to US Embassy Manila.... Thank God...... And my husband don't know yet.. I am sure he's still asleep right now and it was a birthday gift to him... It's 6 am already in California, my husband's place... I am so happy...

Well,she told me that they will send us a email ..me and my husband too about interview date. And also she told me that everything depends from embassy in our country!!!

Good luck to u..but I m sure that will be in September,u will see

They told me on the phone yesterday that they will have all the interviews sceduled by the 3rd week of August, so to give them a call back next week!

I called the embassy to ask can I do a medical before case complete,and they said yes! So I'm already done it before 15 days and it is valid for one year

ok.. They did not ask your reasons why you need to get a medical exam and how about the document that you have a petition?

No,they didn`t! Lot of them here also is done the same thing,and everything is fine.

After medical they gave me the enclosed envelope and I will bring that with me in embassy!

Hello. Everyone. Did anyone get their interview date for September Yet?

Anyone familiar with vaccinations in India? My husband has no vaccination record though he is positive he has had most of the required vaccinations. He isn't sure where they were given so there is no way to get a record and if he has to get them at the medical it will be very expensive and I think some of the vaccinations require 2nd doses..any suggestions?
