I called NVC this morning and finally got the Case Complete message on the AVR. I haven't spoke to an operator yet as I figure they won't be able to tell me anything for at least a few days..feels like this whole experience might actually be over soon and I will be able to see my hubby again!

I am thrilled and happy to say that I tried logging in the payment portal and I FINALLY got SIF!!

SIGN IS FAILED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :):)

I saw this moment!!!!

We received our SIF also, very late last night. I called the operator an hour or so before and she said they're still reviewing our documents. My wife tried to sign-in an hour later, and magically, she gets an SIF. I tried again this morning and its still SIF.

Thank you all for sharing your timelines as it gave us an idea as to where our application stood and gave us hope that it'll complete soon. Feeling so relieved to be past 6-8 weeks :)...

02-25-2010 : Received NVC case number, but NVC is closed, so I can't give an operator our emails. :-(

02-27-2010 : Jumped the gun and emailed the VJ version of the DS 3032. Who knows what will happen :-)

03-01-2010 : Gave the operator both emails...waiting on DS3032 kit

03-02-2010 : Received DS3032 Kit; Resent DS3032 (just in case), Received AOS bill.

03-03-2010 : Paid AOS and IV bills; both are IN PROCESS

03-03-2010 : VJ email version of the DS3032 accepted (It was the one that was sent on 02-27-2010)

03-11-2010 : Both AOS + IV showed paid but processed on 03-05-2010 :-)

Good for you on the SIF. WHen did you send in your AOS and IV Packets? Also, when did they start processsing everything?

We are waiting from Jun 29. But we are started in NVC April 26. The processing of documents we are waiting full 6 weeks.

And now I hope interview will be at the beginning September or middle September. So if all goes ok I will fly over the ocean September 19 on our wedding anniversary!!! :):):)

How soon before we find out information on interviews you think? NVC (AVR) stated it could take up to 8 weeks to receive information which puts us at October interviews..hoping that simply isn't the case..anyone have any idea?

That would be great for you and your husband to spend your anniversary together here in the US. If you don't get an earlier September date, just remember to petition for an earlier one. I hope the consulate isn't too busy. Good luck.

Our cases have almost the same timeliness. Based on these SIF's Monday, I am estimating our SIF's to be on the first 2 weeks of September.

Agreed on the possible September SIFs. I have been counting the weeks over and over on the calender. I guess I got caught up in the excitment with all the recent SIFs and a bit of wishful thinking. Sigh...hey, anything can happen. Good luck.

03-02-2010 : Received DS3032 Kit; Resent DS3032 (just in case), Received AOS bill.

03-03-2010 : Paid AOS and IV bills; both are IN PROCESS

03-03-2010 : VJ email version of the DS3032 accepted (It was the one that was sent on 02-27-2010)

03-11-2010 : Both AOS + IV showed paid but processed on 03-05-2010 :-)

03-12-2010 : Mailed AOS packet. Waiting on my procrastinating hubby to send me his IV docs :-(

03-15-2010 : AOS signed for by St. Laurent at 10:03 a.m.

07-19-2010 : Received IV documents from hubby (Finally)

07-20-2010 : Mailed IV packet

07-21-2010 : IV Packet signed for by Peters at 10:15 a.m. (St. Laurent and Desmond are probably on vacation lol)

07-26-2010 : NVC starts processing IV Packet

08-20-2010 : Called NVC and was told that we received a "stupid" RFE on 08-18-2010

09-03-2010 : RFE sent to the NVC today....SIF please come quickly.

09-07-2010 : RFE signed for by Desmond at 10:16 a.m.

09-10-2010 : NVC acknowledges receipt of the RFE

09-30-2010 : SIF

10-01-2010 : Case complete as per NVC AVR

10-05-2010 : Interview date assigned for November 29, 2010 at 7:00 a.m. Approved
