Yes, I know about the 4 week NVC trips but I think those were for much earlier filers. It seems that for people it June it has gotten significantly longer.

Oh I am so bored people.

How about we review each other's proof of bonafide blah while we wait? Maybe somebody has ideas for people who don't have much yet.

I'll start with what I have:

Picture Album (of course)

Several Screenshots taken from me and my husband on Skype Videocall talking to each other

Military Spouse ID showing that he is my sponsor

Army Insurance Paperwork showing I'm the beneficiary for his life insurance thingy

A few selected congratulation cards we got after getting married

A wedding invitation addressed to both of us

3 Affidavids of support (one of those from one of the witnesses at our wedding)

Reciepts showing that I sent 2 packages with personal belongings to my husband (books and trinkets that I won't part with)

A contract from our realtor showing that my husband added me as a tenant on our house

A signature card showing that we have a joint account

boarding passes from when I went to visit him in June

Visa bills showing that I bought lots of stuff at Ikea (we also have pictures of the inside of our house)

a copy of both our credit cards to show that I have a credit card under my husband's name (the same number on both cards)

I'm also gathering a skype history into a word document every now and then to show ongoing communication

also, i have a phone bill showing that i send a lot of test messages to him. no phone calls though because we're using skype

I think that should be all for now.

No idea what else to add. I hope the interview will be smooth (if I EVER get one)since I'm in a small country with low fraud rate.

Alles wird gut und wenn es noch nicht gut ist, ist es noch nicht vorbei.

Hey guys...I am one of the June Limbo people..every day I am checking...but still able to sign in! While waiting..I hope someone can clear a couple of questions up for me.

1. Chennai Consulate states they need the PCC from the Local Passport Office only...others say both District and Local. What I sent is the PCC from the Regional Passport Office. Just some confusion here in Local and Regional...

Also, I am hoping this does not warrant a dreaded RFE but...his birth certificate only lists his father's name..also was registered in 1997..at the time of his birth, it was not required to register the births. I did phone the NVC and they advised me to include a letter explaining all this. I did include that as well as his school certificate and a copy of his ration card that states both parents names. Anyone have anything similar?

Yes u`re right, lets talk about someone else :)

I am prepared listing the five thousand SMS messages from 2006 year...and I have many photos in last 4 year. We have traveled a lot and I have pictures from all over.

And we use a magic jack that is for calling...

One cool thing that cost $ 30 a year unlimited calls You have the possibility,so the two of us communicate 24 hours.

I have some listin from skype but only one year maybe.

I thing they watch pics. from wedding mostly. And I will bring copy of his passport with the entrance to my country and which was three times a year that is a enough i think :)

Maybe I will remember something more.

Now I kill time by going to the pool and sunbathing early morning...and of course I spend time with my family, when I m not on the phone with my love believe or not I m on the phone with my love from morning to prepare for a good night...

But still I can`t wait to bee with my husband.

What are u doing these days?

And yes, I've learned and culinary magic :) Hopefully we will have good news these days ...I mean u too..because we are in the same boat and we soon starting point over the ocean :):)

I agree with you. Not one CR1/IR1 from June-NVC has been completed. This is really frustrating. My husband and I called last NVC last Wednesday (we were on skype and he dialed NVC) and the lady told us he saw everything was in order but things got slow in the summertime blah blah.. but that she thought maybe 1 more week should be enough for our CC. I was happy to hear that but honestly I don't think she was right. Tomorrow will be the end of week 5 for us and entering week 6.

I think that should be all for now.

No idea what else to add. I hope the interview will be smooth (if I EVER get one)since I'm in a small country with low fraud rate.

Lets see...for the interview thus far I have:

-a few of our wedding photos that were sent in with the original petition as part of the wedding proof but I plan to go through our entire collection and pick out more that show a timeline of our relationship.

- affidavits from friends and family that our relationship is indeed geniune

- boarding passes and copies of my old (before name change) and new passport showing the entry stamps into India for the 4 times I have visited

- logs as far as they go back from calling card records, vonage(woohoo free calls to India), Skype, Yahoo

- some touching emails that were sent

- the IMs that were sent when we met on myspace that show how our relationship began (never deleted his messages...knew he was special

- A copy of the only bill that has both our names on it...my car insurance..they require both husband and wife on the policy even if husband is not a driver or even ever been to the USA. I would add him to a bank account but they require a SSN..and no SSN till this process is complete.

Thats about all I can think of considering we never really lived together...and our situation is unique to most of you...as his family did not accept me, they refuse any participation so our wedding was done at the registrar's office with his best friends as witnesses. People outside of this community don't understand the courage it takes to love someone who lives outside of your own country. It is hard when you love someone so much and you have to spend so much time apart. Those few moments you get together on skype or the phone are like meth to an addict. And this process, is so long and grueling and stressful on top of everything else! So I say, congrats to everyone making it through this and stay patient and brave...it won't be too long till we are welcoming our loved ones at their POE!
