Hello!

I just got my NOA 1 so I have my ID number now. I have gone to the USCI services website and plugged in my number. I am confused at how you know when its been "touched" or when you get a NOA 2? The only choices it has to let you know what step you are on the process are the following: Acceptance, Initial Review, Request for Evidence, Testing and Interview, Decision, Post Decision activity, Document production or oath ceremony.

So, my question is, when you are in Initial Review- that is only NAO 1? Or is it also NOA 2?

Thank you:)

Did you sign up or just enter your case number? Once you sign up, when you log in (or click My Portfolio), it shows your case information in a box and then under the "Last Updated" column, you'll see a date. If that changes but your case status doesn't change (i.e. it's still in initial review), then it means you got touched.

Initial Review is what you're in after you get your NOA1. The website is a little unreliable and may not update to "Post Decision Activity" once you get your NOA2. Just keep that in mind. :)

Well as long as you turn on e-mail and/or mobile alerts, you don't need to check it at all.

On the contrary, I think checking it everyday makes the time go by slower. Doesn't stop any of us from checking it constantly, though!
