My fiance had his medical today at Knightsbridge Doctors (woo!). I don't think they gave him a copy of the exam, though, and he's busy moving out of his flat so I can't ask. Is there a way for him to get a copy of the exam so that we don't have to have ANOTHER one done over here when we apply for his AOS? We're already going to have to get his vax record transferred, since he didn't have all the ones he needed and did he listen when I told him GET THEM AT KNIGHTSBRIDGE? No he did not. So instead of paying GBP60 ($90) for 2 shots, he intends to get his tetanus booster on the NHS and then he'll probably have to get MMR here, which we will have to pay out of pocket unless my insurance is stunningly swift so it's going to be $200ish all said and done and...

I digress. I love him, I really do, but he occasionally drives me UP A WALL.

A copy of his medical, is there a way to get one?

Thanks,

Andrea

I don't think Knightsbridge routinely gives you a copy of the whole medical, but it will be in the brown envelope he will get with his visa and he turns it in when he enters the US. People get a copy of the DS3025 which is only the vaccination record. Too bad he didn't do NHS before going to Knightsbridge. My husband was able to get MMR and the Tdap from NHS for free, but it depends on the practice. For the purpose of immigration, they don't have to do it free. AND be sure he doesn't just get a tetnus booster. It's Tdap and needs the components for tetnus, diptheria, and pertussis. I don't think they even have the Tdap in the UK. It's a US drug designed for adults. But my husband got the baby version DTP and Knightsbridge signed off on it. And there's the varicella shot if he hasn't had chickenpox. If he has, it would be extremely helpful if he got his NHS nurse to write up the shots he gets and a date he had chickenpox. My husbands nurse did that for him just because he told her "my mum said I had chickenpox in December 19XX. So she wrote it out and made it look all official.
