AOS transferred to CSC THEN transferred again?!

so we were overjoyed to hear that our case was transferred to the csc office a few weeks ago. but just now we got a touch saying it was again transferred and is now "being processed at a uscis office".

is this terrible news? how do we know what uscis office it's been transferred to? i'm assuming this almost certainly means an interview now, right?

Could it possible say resumed processing? Which means it is still at CSC?

I will bet that it's being processed at CSC.

I've seen it happen before.

It is not a bad thing, but you need to start preparing for an interview at your local office. Dont worry, just be prepared

thanks :\ is there a link around here suggesting how we should be preparing? i'm assuming they want us to gather wedding photos and whatnot (good thing we have about a zillion...)

That means your case has now resumed processing at the CSC. You haven't been transferred back

Agree with above that it has reached CSC and has been logged in there or whatever and the processing has resumed at CSC.

Got the same email, just means CSC finally logged it in. nothing to worry about

Yep, ours was transferred to CSC & we got the same message...the USCIS office they are referring to IS the CSC

My case was transfered back in Feb to the CSC. Origionally when I would logg in to check on my status it would say that my case is being processed at the California Service Center. Not too long after that It changed to your case is being processed at a local USCIS office. I was confused, especially since it said I had been transfered. A couple of weeks after that I received a NOA in the mail stating that my case was transfered to the CSC... but to this day whenever I log on it still says your case is being processed at a local USCIS office. Recently, I have also been calling the CSC with the information on my NOA to see why my case is taking so long, and I was given information right away. That wouldnt have happened if my case was not there. Unless you specifically got mailed a NOA stating that your case was transferred again, then you have nothing to worry about. It's being processed at the CSC. My comment is based on my own experiences though.There is a slight chance that I could be wrong... I agree with everyone else though, always be prepaired for an interview. Ya never know what is going to happen. The Best of Luck to you

our paper was transfered too from chicago to california service center..

now they just message us saying:

Initial Review

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-528

we just hope this message is positive, im worried too much.. since it will

be six months soon from the date we filed it.

if there is any interview i think ..i just need to show my 5months belly...lol!

wow congrats ur having a baby now.....Me...ito ng prepare pa ng mga documents for AOS......ka marriage ko lang Last June 26 here..pyde po ba yung 2x2 photos na ginamit pg interview sa Manila embassy yun ang isubmit sa AOS?
