People displying swastikas outside my house is an advantage of living in the US ?

Move outta the trailer park.

of course not, were all equals and everybody is a winner in the game of life.

The US is a great place to move to if you're from the third world. I don't really understand why Europeans come here. It's not like they're still in the middle of a potato famine. What's the justification now? It's better there than it is here by many (not all) metrics.

Probably because they dont want to be taxed into oblivion.

There is no ban on face coverings in the UK

There are more minarets in Europe than the US

People displying swastikas outside my house is an advantage of living in the US ?

Sex at 16 is allowed all over Europe - in the US ?

Drinkin a beer is lawful in the UK at 18 - all over the US ?

Where is this freedom ? where is this liberty ? It doesn't exist more than in the 1st world and in many cases it's less.

Hate speech and incitement to murder is lawful in the US (watch telly) - is that really an advantage over other countries ?

Look at the hordes of Moslems burning US flags in London - what do the Americans say ? Arrest them !

Freedom of religion except when its in new york and its moslem - that's hypocrisy

This freedom stuff is laced with hypocrisy and very selective - enjoy the nazi flag if it's so important to you but I wouldn't cross oceans to see it fluttering

I was not refering to the UK. You mentioned a few countries so I highlighted something from each. (Though I admit, in my haste I focused on Switzerland not Sweden.)

Burning the US flag is legal btw still. Sex is dependent on what state btw.

It seems to be more accepted there than it is here. Maybe it's a cultural thing?

I know you guys have a short attention span so I am having to repeat this

I didnt say Polanski was ok. I said that having sex with an experienced 16 year old should not be described as rape -it should be described as unlawful sexual intercourse as it is in grown up countries.

Now come on and furrow those brows and try and see a distinction

The Americans set the Thai sex industry up as fun for their troops in vietnam - so the world know what's acceptable to you guys.

Age of consent in some US states is 16.

BTW what did the 16 year old comment have to do with Polanski? The girl was 13 and drugged?

anyway we are getting off topic

:ot2:

Addressing the topic, the point is that I have bags of money and it's great.

Everything is going very well and there is no need to change anything

Everyone knows that in the UK, people would be envious, but here in the US, people like to see others being successful and applaud them

It's great ! It's the place for me...

Question for you, off-topic.

Besides love, what other reasons does a European (including brits) have for wanting to move to America at a time when Europe (including GB) is actually doing quite well?

Well I changed my money at an average of 2.04 and that allowed me to buy a superb house and a brand new V6 3.5 litre car and a new 1200 cc Suzuki motorbike and 4 rifles and 3 pistols and a boat and engine etc etc etc out of my beer money ! I had a ton of money left over. I couldn't have bought a box out of a house in the UK for the money that ALL of that cost

I moved the cash back to the UK at 1.38 and then back again at 1.65

I don't work and I just think about the tactics of making sure I am well positioned in all ways.

My 'work' can be done from anywhere

The sun is shining, there is 8 inches rain pa, 15% humidity and I am positioned in UK shares and in the next 2 years I will make 8% dividends plus 15% capital increase plus 15% exchange rate difference...

As Tony the Tiger used to say - it's going GREEEAAT !

Anyone could do this except that they are too busy watching 'American Idol' and brains out dvd's and smoking dope and won't spend the effort in figuring out their opportunities. It's just laziness plus lack of confidence.

I am not that clever - I am a jack of all trades. In any area that I am good at, I could meet someone much better any day of the week. But I look and learn and educate myself and try. Nobody else in my family ever tried.

Like in Wall Street where Gordon points at the beggar through his smoked glass and asks what is the difference between him and me ?

'lack of confidence' is right... risk aversion is a huge barrier.

thanks for the response.
