No, they want to cast doubt on the legitimacy of Franken's win in the election. Assuming they did vote (Which is the fault of the election officials who allowed them to vote), they have no idea how they voted. But this article is implying that they voted for Fraken.

Don't you know, Dan - all felons vote Democrat.

Why shouldn't felons be allowed to vote? I mean they still live in the society and are effected by its leaders choices and decisions. Shouldn't serving time in prison restore their right to vote?

Felons lose some of their rights. They can no longer vote or own guns I believe.

I understand taking the rights to own a gun away from felons especially if they were convicted of violent crimes. But taking away their right to vote after serving time seems a bit too much. Everyone who's ruled by the leader should have a choice in saying who is his or her leader. They still live among us and are part of the society.

Yes and no. I mean they are 'here' but with give them so many scarlet letters for the rest of their lives, that is becomes difficult to do many things.... Not saying what's right and wrong, just saying there's plenty of things the effect felons once they are out.

lose the right to own a firearm, lose the right to vote, lose the right to hold public office.

i agree with all of them. anad why should someone who can't live within the laws of society have a say in who runs that society?

Actually it depends on the state. Since, each individual state determine their own voting laws, it is upto each state to decide if felons can vote or not.

Some of our founding fathers were criminals, or was that just more revisionist history?

Yes.

Did your eyes bulge out and your hat lift off your head?

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt
