Well I find that my 60th buisness day is also my 90th day. October 4th is my 90th buisness day excluding holidays also.. Such a big difference.. I might call DOS and ask them what should I use when counting the days... This process is so depressing :crying:

This is what my wife got after her interivew in Islamabad, Pakistan on 5/7...please read my other thread for better understanding...

Hello Melody,

I am a US Citizen...My Wife had her interview in Islamabad, Pakistan on May 7th. She received a light green paper at the end of the interview stating temporarily refused for administrative processing. The paper also states that it can take 2-3 months but no maximum time. They kept her passport and gave her token...As I stated I have been calling DOS and they keep saying under administrative processing..We got married last year, June 10th 2009.

It's a waiting game, just wait and pray and pray and wait...From what I heard, females don't get AP (only 1% of them)...today is the 68th day since her interview and we are still awaiting...I also heard that candidates coming from Muslim countries always get placed in AP compared to other regions and especially if you’re a male then AP is a must...I wish they would do the AP thing prior to the interview or at least make a centralized place for people like you and me to check the status online or track it because calling DOS is not working at least in my opinion...someone else in VJ sponsored her Husband and had interview in Islamabad and it took about 5months and a 1week for her Husband to get the visa. She also posted that prior to 2 days, she contacted DOS and they said it is still under administrative processing and then she said like 2 days later, they called for her Husband to pick up the visa...we just gotta wait and wait unfortunately:-(

And it’s so funny, I have also spoken to Dana (the person that you are mentioning at DOS)…I have been calling everyday and I will continue to do so…let’s keep in touch and let me know if you get any updates...

Thank you so much!!!

I agree with you. DoS is not working... this whole system is not working... I dont find that their tacktics are fair or even uniform... but who am I?? I am sure that the government has their reasons, I might not agree with them, but in the larger scheme of things I know that this hellish nightmare will be over soon. I am sure that I will keeping posting everything I find out ... so lets do keep in touch!!

Yep your right, DOS replies on their UN-dated system we as innocent people get stunk in the middle...my life is like on HOLD, we cant go forward due to this and it's so unfortunately for as citizens that we have to go through this dreadful game of waiting and hopefully end is near...if I get any updates, I'll let you know...I'll keep you in my prayers and hope you'll do the same :-)

I would strongly recommend that you continue to contact DOS...

What is the point? I think the only thing contacting DOS will do is keep my stomache in ulcers... they cant tell you anything, it doesnt do any good to call them, and they are a day behind the embassy... I dont mean to be so blunt... but the way I feel right now is what's the point?

Daya Mataji's private guidelines thoughout the years

1.) Think one thought at a time.

2.) Don't interupt when others are talking.

3.) Read books that require your concentration, that inspire and uplift you.

4.) Don't eat so fast (Rajarsi even chewed his water..<joke>)

5.) Exercise regularly

6.) Relax; dont get bogged down in the little things

7.) Learn to appreciate whatever you do; you are as important to God as any other child that has reached him

8.) Set aside time for seclusion to be alone with God

9.) Keep your mind at the Christ Center all the time

10.) Try always to follow in Master's Footsteps; Let his will be done with the work.

True...your right, you have a good point...I think DOS is not 1 day behind Embassy but more then that...if you ask them they will claim as if they are up-to-date with the matching info on Embassy database which of course is not true as per my opinion....we should all pray that Insha Allah(GOD WILLING)...everyone's AP will end to unite with loved one's....Ameen....ALLAH WILL DO WHATS BEST FOR US...

Inspired by the Julie/Julia Project... I bought a book... '660 Curries' by Raghavan Iyer.. As Julia Child learned to cook at age 37 for her Husband, I am going to attempt to learn how to cook some edible Indian food for my beloved Hubby. I will assume that I have some more time before my Hubby is here with me... so.. this will be my little hobby until he comes... who am I kidding...This will have to be added to my list of hobbies :D But I can happily say that this one is just for my love. So far looking at this book it seems to be extremely over whelming.. I keep thinking to myself why didnt I get the book that had alot of pictures and only 100 recipies... I was reading this Modern Womans Guide on keeping your Indian Husband happy in the U.S. This guide says that if you ask your Hubby what his favorite dishes are that he will not have over (5). Were they serious?? I asked my Husband tonight... and he couldnt even tell me 1!! LOL.. he said that he likes Rajma...<sigh> So... I flip in my handy 660 Curries book... and there is like 20 Rajma recipies... geeez. :D He was trying to be helpful and sweet and told me that he will love anything that I cook for him.. As sweet and kissable as he is... helpful isnt on the list... sooo I will have to torture my children over the next couple of months... heheheh they might want to disown me when this is all over... Tomorrow starts Day One and we will be having Butter Chicken and Rice... yumm yummm

My Rosetta Stone Hindi is intimidating me... it seems that it jumps drastically from level 1 to level 2... I havent given up... just it is going to take alot longer then I thought.
