Hi everyone,

I was getting a little discouraged a little bit, I had been checking the USCIS site to see if there were any touched or if anyone reviewed our file. The last date was the actual date the NOA was sent and then we went to do biometrics on June 15th, 2010 and thought okay we'd hear something. I even checked this very morning and still the same date and nothing no touches nothing. My wife said just wait, I bet next week will something will happen and sure enough I open the mail box and what do I see but our notice to show up for our AOS interview on August 10th, 2010 at 7:15 AM wow that's early.

So just bear in mind that they must be working on something somewhere but it must not always show what is going on, now it's almost over for awhile at least.

Congrats. Mine has been 100% accurate.

** moved from "Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from Family Based Visas" to "Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports" as the prior forum is for questions and this one is for updates/progress**

V & T, I actually receieved my EAD card in the mail. And then that case status went from "intial review" to "document production", then a week later... back to "initial review", then a few days later back to "post decision activity". I got my card to thats good ..... but strange all the same.

Also I have had my interview arranged for a few weeks now, on my other two cases ........ they still says initial review and simply states, "we have received your application for AOS blah blah blah..." and yet I have an interview notification. Strange again. I think the status information is of very good use if things are going wrong, but maybe its not a good source of data if things are going well. By that I mean I have an EAD card in hand and an interview scheduled, but the status indicates that we are not at that stage. what do you think?

I guess its part of the hoop jumping process. LOL.
