hey guys, my noa2 was nov 17th, nvc got it in the system at 8pm last night (nov 22) and they had it sent off to london about 3 hours ago (nov 23rd)...talk about things goin fast, it's like from snail speed to omgIblinkedandmissedit.

they told me that they don't have my fiance's email logged, even though i had it on the paperwork, but that if i call DOS and give it to them then they can email him the info instead of mailing it, so maybe check on that? could save a few weeks easy, no?

Thank you! I am really happy, but unfortunately my SO was kinda cranky because his phone had exploded or something, and he was swamped with work, and he only had 5 minutes to talk and tell me... So my balloon was somewhat deflated. Holy bananas, though, I got my NOA2! The one I've been waiting for. Maybe it just hasn't sunk in yet...

Wait, I know what'll make me feel better...

YAY!!! (I just can't stop that little guy from dancing)

Just got off with the NVC(my fiance's email wasn't listed for some reason either so I updated them). The (very nice) woman gave me my new case number and said it wasn't yet sent to London, but she did mention they will move very quickly (this phrase nearly made me cry) and to try again at the end of the week. She confirmed they will be open regular hours tomorrow AND Friday, they're just off Thanksgiving.

actually, i just called today to have them put my cellphone number on it instead of my house number, didn't figure they'd send it off till friday since it just got in their system lastnight and the guy that talked to me last night said to call back next week. and when she went to change my number, she said, oh, we don't actually have it anymore, it's been sent off to london already, and she gave me the DOS number (like i haven't had it memorized for the last 3 months, lol)

Cool! I spoke to a nice lady, too. It's good they're friendly after you've waited so long to speak to someone.

A still hasn't gotten the NOA2 hard copy in the mail. I'm not worried yet about it yet but I hope we do not have to deal with getting trying to get another copy from USCIS. They want something absurd like $300 for additional copies of I797s or whatever they are.
