Oh wow, I take a break from VJ for a bit and suddenly all of you guys are getting approvals! I feel so excited for you all! Congratulations JlovesA, Gap, Kristy, and Yas8Mike and Candn for your touches which are probably approvals as well! :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:

I was going to wait until I hit the 4 month mark to start checking our case status again but all of these touches are making me anxious and so I'm not sure if I wait that long!

lol, the latest noa1 i've seen get approved this week is a july 14th i think, but yours will be soon at the rate they have been cranking them out in the last 2 weeks :)

lol, the latest noa1 i've seen get approved this week is a july 14th i think, but yours will be soon at the rate they have been cranking them out in the last 2 weeks :)

Yeah I fully expect to not see any action from them for at least another 2 weeks, but my self control is wearing down so it's becoming harder and harder not to take a peak at our status. :blink::hehe:

I just called NVC to see if maybe they received our file and they did, today. So even though USCIS hasn't told me yet, we are approved!!! WOO HOOO :dance: :dance::dance:

04/26/2010 - Met in Philippines (for 2 weeks)

05/08/2010 - Officially engaged!! ( He sent the engagement ring 09/24/2010 and he proposed to me on bended knee in Philippines with the second part of engagement ring) *melting*

06/18/2010 - I-129F package Sent

06/21/2010 - NOA1

06/24/2010 - Touched

09/23/2010 - Touched (when I contacted the Congressman's office)

11/15/2010 - Touched (hopefully the approval)

11/17/2010 - NOA2 (Received hard copy 11/22/2010)

12/01/2010 - Received a letter from DOS dated 11/29/2010 stating that the petition will be forwared to USE AD within a week and that I will received the packets very soon from embassy.

01/18/2011 - Interview. APPROVED!!! No words can express how happy i am.

01/25/2011 - VISA in hand! YAY!!!

02/20/2011 - POE Chicago (O'hare)

Oh right on, my fiance grew up Dearborn Heights. He lives in Ann Arbor now. Small world...there's another couple on here from Dearborn, but they don't post much. NOA1 July 6 for them too.

My sister goes to grad school at U of M in Ann Arbor. I am up there quite a bit. It is a small world. :yes:
