Have you contacted your congressman/senator? I would, if I were you.

what is the most effective way to get them to process it? Shouldnt I call USCIS?

After long wait my status saying initial review...i am happy that uscis service actually works and my receipt is actually real...lol

"The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. Mine was approved 13 days after I received the same message. Received the hard copy NOA2 in the mail 6 days after that on 11/29. Hang in there.......Your approval is coming!!!!!

Our application was also transferred to TSC on November 18. I received the Snail Mail before the E-Notification. So we're at TSC with everyone else. It happened while I was visiting my wife. So with the 3 week visit with my wife over, and wishing that I could have just brought her home with me when I had to leave on the 21st, I'm just waiting on USCIS and the TSC to let me know something.

So with the 3 week visit with my wife over, and wishing that I could have just brought her home with me when I had to leave on the 21st, I'm just waiting on USCIS and the TSC to let me know something.

Just hang in there, your five months time frame will end in 7 days. You will have the approval during this week, latest next week at the beginning

I am in the same boat, except my 5 months were up on the 23 Nov and I think a lot of us are going to have this problem, I called uscis twice and got the same reply from two different people, one was going to send a reply back to the California office for me saying that my 5 months were up, but while she was doing do the system told her that I still had an additional 16 days to go before my 5 months was up.

I called 1-800-375-5283.

Continue in English opt 1,

Check application or make changes opt 2,

Know receipt number opt 1,

then enter the receipt number including alpha characters,

if correct option 1,

report problem option 3

then all other problems option 0 - that will get you to a customer services rep Level 1 who are usually very unhelpful as they don't seem to have access to any real information on your case.

If they tell you same thing they told me - to wait an additional 16 days, because as they put it, your 5 months are not yet up, I don't know why this is, maybe they don't count holidays.

I asked for advice in this thread if I should contact my senator, did not get a reply, but decided for 16 days it was not worth it, it would probably take that long for them to get a reply and the case would all ready have been resolved by then.
