Could someone explain this: " For these employees, when a holiday falls on a nonworkday -- Saturday or Sunday -- the holiday usually is observed on Monday (if the holiday falls on Sunday) or Friday (if the holiday falls on Saturday)."

Does it mean that if a holiday is on Saturday, they do not work on Friday? I am confused...unsure.gif

That's correct skynaut.

Example - Jan 1, 2011 is on Sat. So, they will have holiday on Dec 31, 2010 Fri.

Happy Thanksgiving to u all. I got the email from USCIS stating that my case is now transferred and is processed at USCIS office. I finally got touch yesterday (I hope it is for the good, plz plz no rfe). I do not understand why our cases are moved from one place after another. I hope we get our approval within next week. God bless us all.

I was reading everyone's post about TSC transfers being at Post Decision Activity Status and decided to give USCIS a call. Sure enough, my petition is also at Post Decision Activity. But I never received the text nor the email about the status update like everyone else did. Anyways, I'm really excited for everyone. Hopefully we will get approved within the next couple of weeks. Good luck everyone.

Called USCIS today, my 5 months were up on 23 Nov (they have my notice date as 24 June), the person at USCIS said that I still had 16 days do go, they had added additional time to the 5 months because they were running late.

Looks like they are trying to drag this out for another 2 weeks, don't know if I should log a complaint with my senator? (what do you guys advise?)

I have never received a touch on my file, no RFE and no transfers to different centers, the file is in California.

3/31/11- Interview date! Approved!!!!!!
