The latest touches and messages that it moved to USCIS office are all positive signs that they are actively looking into the petition.

I still believe few TSC approvals will show up before Nov 30th.

Well, hopefully soon we will all have good news from USCIS. It seems unfair that CSC is moving forward and that August filers are being processed before those of us who filed in July. I'm trying every day to find new ways to stay positive. Like thinking about what we can control and what we can't. Since we have no control over USCIS before the 5-month mark, we have to stay strong and find the faith to believe that this will all work out sooner or later and we will eventually be with our loved ones. Just think - this will be our last Thanksgiving alone! Whoohoo! After this we will really have something to be thankful for! Wishing you a happy thanksgiving, VJers!

Just called USCIS 800# to check on the expedite request from November 8th. The expedite request was approved and my wife's I-130 is on an adjudicator's desk right now. The agent I spoke with stated that a notice was sent to me on Monday advising me of the approval of expedite.

Now if I can get my wife and son home by Christmas.......................

Received the letter from TSC yesterday stating the above. When I spoke to USCIS on the 18th, they said they mailed it on the 15th, we'll it is postmarked on the 19th.......Doh! The USCIS status page is useless, I have not had a touch since the I-130 was transferred to TSC from CSC. You would think that there would be some touches due to the expedite request and the fact that the I-130 is on an adjudicator's desk right now.

More evidence they are working, but NOT reporting touches. We are in roughly the same boat, but our expedite request is "pending". Fingers crossed...

Whenever someone from USCIS works on an application/package, a barcode is scanned on the documents which in turn is supposed to create the alert for a "touch"......................it appears that there are many things currently broken at USCIS.

Wow! I've been away from the internet for a whole day and it seems like there's a lot of action here. It seems like a few people were transferred again, were you notified via email or just mail? I am in Canada until next week and can't check my email, the suspense is killing me!

I also haven't had a touch since July but I don't think that means anything.

Ok I'm wishing good luck all around for some quick approvals!!!

This has been told many times :star:

USCIS site is not reliable to everybody. If you don't see a touch, it doesn't mean your case is not being processed. It is the technical glitch in their web site.

Some people are lucky to see the touches throughout their process.

I have seen many who got approval even without a single touch.

When my case was approved, it still showed "Initial Review". And almost a month after, the status moved from "Initial Review" to "Post Decision Activity".

So, stay tuned and I feel approvals will start flooding any time soon

For my wife's K-1, they still have this as the status:

Request for Evidence Response Review

On January 14, 2008, we received your response to our request for evidence. This case is being processed at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location. Blah blah blah......................

LOL......I keep it in my current USCIS Portfolio to use as proof for poor implementation and upkeep by a Gov Agency.

I'm calling the NVC right now - LOL, just in case we have been approved...(unlikely), but how the HELL do you get through. It's either engaged, or just rings out then goes dead. Is there a trick to this? :bonk:

For those who already got mad at USCIS (I am considering myself at first place in this catagory)

Here are few assumtions about USCIS to cheer our selves.

(1) Not all the touches are logged in.

(2) USCIS is strictly working on the case in order they recieved.

(3) They are there to help us.

(4) USCIS website is useless.

(5) July and June filers case have already been processed at CSC and they just needed to be approved that is the reason we do not see touches while august filers are touched.

(6) TSC people are more efficient than CSC.

(7) They really want to make 5 month target.

Now the facts

(1) USCIS website and the touch system is not reliable.

(2) We are the unlucky fellows chosen to be experimented at another service center whose staff is new to I130.

(3) August filers are processed for sure (they got touches), but no surity for June and July filers.

This is the reason I keep on looking at this website. A really great one. When I read these optimistic views, it makes me feel good. It really decreases my frustration. We hope Mr.Loto and MR.ER are right. Thank you guys..
